Well, its been a while.... I know....

Havent had much time to give my cars any love, just been driving the TL like crazy (commuting to and from work/school)...

Had some time this weekend to do some work:

First, got rid of the Stoptech rotor's, hated the noise and they were warped...
Installed some Centric e-coated rotors and Wagner pads (thank you Quan for the recommendation!)

Installed new hood struts, my hood holds itself open now!!
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/126676472@N02/21413846002/in/dateposted-public/" title="20150914_181416_HDR"><img src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5817/21413846002_001d6a0a04_n.jpg" width="320" height="180" alt="20150914_181416_HDR"></a>

Swapped out the Purge Control Valve that was giving me the "tighten fuel cap" warning message. What a headache it was being! It has been overdue for a long time...

Replaced my side mirror actuator as well, it was giving out.

Installed a hitch so that I could take me and my girl's bikes around!
Cutting off excess metal so I could fit the underside plastic:

Installed:
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/126676472@N02/21237885729/in/dateposted-public/" title="20150914_181447_HDR"><img src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5751/21237885729_c733a57750_n.jpg" width="320" height="180" alt="20150914_181447_HDR"></a>

And last but not least gave her a MUCH NEEDED BATH!! She was filthy!
Nice and clean!
<a data-flickr-embed="true" href="https://www.flickr.com/photos/126676472@N02/21237884419/in/dateposted-public/" title="20150914_190616_HDR"><img src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5821/21237884419_4a5fd70a84_n.jpg" width="320" height="180" alt="20150914_190616_HDR"></a>

Now here's to seeing you guys in a few more months....

Ill try and stop in once in a while

Steven

car looks good!
were they drilled rotors and why were they making the sound, because they were warped? did you just get blanks this time?

how do you like the wagner pads, are they low on dust compared to stoptechs?

Thanks for the compliment
They were drilled/slotted and came with the car. They would make noise when braking, but from what I read it seems like its just the Stoptechs that do this...

I replaced them with blanks, first due to price, and second if I ever need to resurface them it is easier. Drilled/slotted are non-resurfacable from what my shop told me. Also, I heard that combo was really good.

I just installed them this weekend, so haven't been able to tell if they are cleaner or not, but now that my car is clean (finally) I should be able to tell in a few days
