The RJ front is too much for me imo. But I do plan on doing at least some slotted rotors all around and def. painting the calipers black.

I'm trying to decide between that ^^ or the sound system now that I have a W6 sitting in my room. I think I might do the brakes now to completly finish off the exterior for good ... unless of course ... I get the carbon fiber hood and paint most of it.

Nice wheels ... you may want to paint your calipers red. Black will look good also, but imo the red will stand out (you can't go wrong either way). good job, keep it up.

Thanks. The red stands out a lil too much for me .. I want just black ones to match the overall black out effect. But if red is the only option I have for aftermarket stuff then we'll see. I'm looking at the Rotora stuff but its SO expensive, ha. If I have to I'll get their red calipers I will, but if/when I paint my calipers it'll def. be black.

Is Rotora, Wilwood, and Brembo (not doing Brembo tho) the only good options us 3G TL's have?

check out stoptech.......colors galore even for the rotors. They're more pricey than rotora but worth it.

JPTL-S - Crucial Find! I didn't remember to check that out yet today!

special-ed - Thanks! I'll look into it ....

I just got pulled over for the 29th time tonite. I have 3 tickets pending now, 10 points total. 2-2 point tickets and 1-6 point ticket. All for speeding. Does anyone know if I register my car with my Aunt in North Carolina do I still keep the points? ha

dayam....instead of that bbk, maybe you should get a valentine 1 and take some defensive driving course. Good luck!

because it's you driving, points fall under your file with the DMV for the state you have your license in.

I already have a V1 hardwired. It went off when they shot me but I didn't have anywhere to turn off to because it was just residential area. So if I have a license in North Carolina then could I claim residence there, clear ALL my points, and have my car registered in NC or MD?

JP - Really? I'll have to look for it, but I dont want my pic on here, lol. thanks for not posting it.

s0leheir - Thanks man! I'm not sure about the 350Z. My trophy was like the 3rd handed out so I just left after that, haha! What's FDI ?

Nick, I figured you might not want to have your pic out there. But, the picture is nice because it gives you a reference as to how big that trophy really is!

EndofFile - Thanks! Oh man, did you join the website at the right time!... there's a huge megameet Oct. 29th for VA/DC/MD. Join in to see at least 35 of us there! It should be one of the best meets yet!

Ghost - I would not count on the Cop missing the 5-pointer. It's happening less and less now a days. 10 points pending AND your only 22! WOW, THAT COULD GET VERY EXPENSIVE for both insurance and the lawyers to defend you. You may want to start routing some of your disposable income towards a legal defense fund. I'd figure it will probably cost you upwards of $4K to retain your license at this point. Nice job on the car though!

Yeah, I doubht he'll miss the court date either, but who knows. I'll probably get a lawyer that I know to represent me there. His office is literally right across the street from the courts front doors ... thus he knows all the judges very well and maybe he can talk him into bringing the points down or something. Last time I had a 5 pt ticket ... I was going to get a lawyer but I didn't want to bc I had a feeling the cop wouldn't show ... and HE DID NOT SHOW! haha. That woulda been 1,500 dollars down the drain. But I'm not planning on that happening again.

The ironic thing about it all .... I'm in the process of becoming a Sheriff now, haha! I'll keep my fingers crossed, but we'll see how that pans out. That should help me in court if I can make this last little hump in the hiring process before the academy starts in July 07.

Sorry but changing your residence to NC will NOT work. Your points will transfer to ANY state. Additionally, NC and MD have a reciprical arrangement and any ticket here (NC) will also impact your tickets there (MD) so that's not going to work. Take my advice and spend the $'s to get a GOOD lawyer. Your going to need it. I still like your car though...

Ah, er, I don't think there are many 22 year old sheriffs. I assume you mean you are applying to "get a job in the sheriff's department"?

Okay, thanks.

Yeah, I was actually going to be a Sheriff. I coulda been one at age 21. I took the exam for the Sheriff position and actually came out "well qualified." Which got me to the next round of the hiring stage. Unfortuantly, something didn't pass with them so i have to wait till June 08 to apply again. Which I will .. if not for Secret Service. I know 2 guys that work in Secret Service and they are only 2 yrs older than me. I'm nearly 23.

Looks R Hot...great job so far. Makes my wallet keep trying to jump out of my back pocket to do some of your mods on my '05 NBP. But I resist.
Just a note, maybe it's the pics, but in the early pics the intake filter seems
awfully exposed to possibly rain and/or hydrolock. I have my K&N typhoon down in the well like that, but I kept all my original bumper parts on, so it's pretty much blocked from direct rain. Also, K&N supplied a "raincoat" to install over the element. I also don't have the A-spec body parts.
I'm still paranoid, though. Any problems with yours?

Thanks!

I've been through the toughest rain down pours ... plus driven through huge floods, etc. and still no problem. As long as you don't hit v-tec and redline your car during the heavy rain your good.

Damn man the car looks sick! I love everything about it. Have you chosen what sub/amp combo you want to run yet? In my TL I have a 12" Alpine Type-R 4 ohm with a JL 500/1 and it bumps. I've been blasting the hell out of the thing for over 2 years now and it still sounds great. I wanted 2 of them, but I didn't want to kill the trunk space. Just an idea of course though. I'm sure you will do something sick
