Yes, very! Now the tire search begins. I'm only able to find the snow tires that I want in 245/40-18. What do you guys think about that size with my drop? No spacers.

I finally took some nice pics of the new car today. Let me start by saying I HATE the wheels on there and will be replacing those asap. That being said, I'm hoping to order new wheels and get the windows tinted pretty soon.

Those wheels look great on your car, Justin! I'm a little sad to see them go, but I'm happy they went to someone who appreciates them.

I'm planning on getting factory style wheels for my car for now. I'm debating on getting the wheels in Silver or Gunmetal... opinions???

Dang, that's a hard call. I think they both look good with your color paint.

Ahhhh that bumper is begging for an euro plate
Great shots Adam, car looks clean. Yup stock rims forever on that R...

Orange shade inside the rear tail? Is it the bulb or is there a orange cover around the socket like the old Golf, that can't just be cleared by changing bulbs

Edit: So much details going on in that rim. Silver shows them all in blink of an eye
but, when it's a dark color car black whatever, it's the gunmetal that looks perfect, because since the car is darker, rims does stand out.

Hard decision

I never even noticed that bulb until you pointed it out. I'll have to take a look at that later and figure out if it blinks orange.

The car is a dark grey... Carbon Steel Pearl to be exact. I'm leaning towards the Gunmetal, but I do want there to be some contrast. I'm hoping they don't blend in too much.

I am open to suggestions if you know of any. I like the 19'' S-line wheels on their cars. I don't want to buy tires right now and the wheel specs that fit these cars are very weak! The stock wheels are 18x7.5 +51. The replica wheels I want to buy are 18x8 +45 and they might rub once I lower it.

Such a gorgeous car.

I vote silver wheels. A lot of the car is a dark color so get lighter colored wheels to give the overall look some contrast

I will agree with Tyler, it might be the pictures but, that gunmetal just can't pull my attention like our A-Spec gunmetal.

How about adding little bit more spokes in there?

^^Agree.^^

I like those OEM wheels. I wonder if some other bigger OEM wheels would fit it. Is there an another car with larger OEM wheels that may fit it?? Would A5 wheels fit it?

I found a set of those in 18's for less than the OEM style wheels. I might go that route now. I don't know...

Also, how are you able to capture pictures of the headlights without the annoying glare? Do you use a certain type of filter?

Update: I wanted new wheels right away bc I hate the cheap, aftermarket wheels on there. I was going to get OEM wheels, but after thinking about it more and after selling a bunch of old TL parts, I decided to go with something better...

VMR V710 18x8.5 +45 in Hyper Silver. I wanted something that would pop against the dark paint. The specs are pretty weak for a TL, but these are fairly aggressive for the R. The OEM wheels are 18x7.5 +51. I'm not going to slam it, just a minor drop when I go that route. I'll have a do a little fender work to the front when that time comes. I don't want any reason to have to drive slow.

On to the pics... Yes I know it needs more low. Tint and then Intake/Stage 1 will come before suspension. Only other thing I did to the car was plasti-dip the front and rear emblem.

Rear is slightly tucked

Front has a little poke

Thanks, Tyler! It's been doing great, I can't keep my right foot off the pedal! I love the surge of power when the turbo kicks in. The car is quick, but not fast. It has a lot of potential, but I want to take it slow. Once I do intake and Stage 1, I should go from approx 235 to 305 whp & 245 to 295 wtq. It will really wake up the car and everyone says it's how it should have come from the factory. I'm just waiting til I get my tax return to do this.

Nice wheels
I don't understand why rear end is way to high in most of the cars
Are those wheels lighter than the oem ones?

I like everything in that video

I think my stance is a little off because of where I'm parked, but I agree it sits up too high. The suspension does have a nice, sporty feel. It just needs less wheel gap.

The VMR's weigh 22.5lbs and the OEM are 26lbs. I don't know what the other wheels weigh that were on there, but I'll probably get their weight when I clean them up to sell.
