is it just me or does the "wood" in this new RL look really cheap/faux and more like "plood?" i don't like this new cherry-like colored PLOOD they are putting in the RX330, ES330, and others..looks WAY fake. The TL plood looks much better IMHO!

I like the exterior styling, but the interior could be a little more luxurious. Dosn't seem like its as high qauality as the lexus interior.

It'll be interesting to see how the new RL sells starting at 48k+. I was expecting it to
start in the low 40's... around 50k RL sales may struggle against other cars in that class.
No doubt it's a sharp ride, but when the intro-hype fades I won't be surprised to hear of
buyers working deals for 45k or less...

Damn. The RL price up here stickers at 69500. I wonder if us Canadians are getting shafted as when you convert US dollars to CDN (48900 divided by .8100), I am getting around $60000. Am I making some mistake converting or is Acura Canada screwing us.

Anyways, I was at my Acura dealer yesterday for an oil change and the salesperson stated that the dealership is only alotted two RL per months ( so much for negotiating any movement on price). Is this the same for other Acura dealers or is this BS?

We always get shafted up here in Canada. We pay more and get less compare to our US counterparts. No XMS radio here and less color to choose from!!!

I feel the same too... I think the exterior is bland. I like the look of the TL much better. I also don't like the wheels. AWD is awesome and interior is pretty cool. other then that??

The TL looks MUCH better that the RL. Of course I may be somewhat biased!
