Picture REQUEST! Matching switchbacks and Hids combinations!

I've tried searching but I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.

I'd like to see pictures of your switchbacks with your headlights on and maybe even your foglight HID.

Trying to figure out what's the best site or place to buy matching combinations (headlight bulb, switchback, foglight hid). looking for 5000k or 6000k.

Please post pictures and details on what version/model and where you purchased it from. THANK YOU!

I have switchbacks from eBay which are supposedly 5000k white and my HID's are 6000k from The Retrofit Source. Morimoto D2S 6000k.

Mine used to match perfectly when I had Kaixen 6000k bulbs. The switchbacks are v-leds 6000k.

Some old pics:

Fogs on as well

I still have the same switchbacks however I switched the HID bulbs to Phillips Ultinon 6000k and they don't match perfectly anymore.

I can't find the pic on photobucket but scroll to the bottom of my cardomain page here and I have 3 comparison pics of when I had 3 different HID bulbs in my car.

Hope that helps!

So I finally got around to the switchbacks and hids.

I bought these switchbacks first. I wish the switchbacks was more towards 5k. If I remember correctly, the ebay seller didn't state what temperature it was. It just said white. I bought 6k from TRS (both d2s and H8). The fog bulbs were faulty so i had them replaced to 5k both d2s and H8 because they were too blue and output wasn't very visable. The H8 did not match the d2s 5k after replacement so I bought some from DDM which matched pretty well. So here it is...

Pictures below are

Headlights: D2s Morimotos 5k (TRS)
Fog light: H8 5k (DDM)
Switchbacks: Ebay white (more towards 6k) 120 LED 60/60 White/Amber

Let me know what you guys think!

Fogs and headlights are a real nice white. I have similar switchbacks, and I agree, they definitely are more towards 6k even though they are just described as white.

Makes me want to switch my bulbs to 5k...

They are pretty sweet KJ, I also have the ZKW-R lens' so with the super white light the cut off is also very nice. They are worth every penny if you're ever thinking about picking up a set. I think they are like $180 on TRS' site.

Ask and ye shall receive, lol!

Here is the install thread I made for the DRL kit. The load resistors that come with the kit are what bypass the DRL light coming on. I still have no issues since I installed it.

Here is the link to the white bulbs I bought. Yes it is a dead link so you can't purchase right from the link, but the seller is vision-technology so if you search them you can find the exact ones I bought.

i wish they had 4300-4500 switchbacks. As much as I do like the color of 5k-6k, i think about going back to stock everyday cause the decrease in visibility...
