kept my old wheels, i had to order one because the rear driver side wheel was destroyed in the wreck $900 bills for just one (no tire) ouch!!!

first thing im gonna do is tint, then i'll slap on the wheels. after that it's gonna need a drop. i had the a-spec suspension on my old ride. it was nice but i always wished it was alittle lower, so this time i think i'll go with the tien ss coilovers with the EDFC, while im at it i'll throw on the comptech rear sway bar w/ (energy sus) bushings. i know the EDFC motors won't fit with the oem strut bar, so i'll have to get the greddy or mod the oem one. i'll keep you guys updated on my future mods

Congrats and good luck with the new ride! I also send my condolences on the loss the 04- that was a sweet Anthracite. Too bad there's so many jackasses on the road, especially drunk ones. I assume you're fully healed at this point, right? I remember you had a couple of broken ribs.

thanks, i've got a ways to go before i get it looking as good as the old ride. but i'll get there soon. no im not fully healed yet. my ribs still hurt when i get out of bed in the morning. i think broken ribs take months to heal. i also had a broken collar bone. that doesn't hurt, but i don't know if it's 100% healed.

Yo, your old TL is the sickest i've seen so far. I got the same color 06. That i still need to trick out.

 

Yeah, sorry to hear about your 04, but you ended up with a 07 TLS

Also, if it's a big deal to you, there's a slight color mismatch between the rear bumper and the rest of the car.

 

Man I can't wait to see what you do to the Type-S!! Looking at your old modded TL, I can't imagine what you'll make the new one look like.

I wouldn't think so.. He said that the driver's side rear wheel was destroyed and that is pretty close to the rear bumper. You can even see in the first picture of the wrecked 04 that the rear bumper was hit.

Nice ride though and keep us updated on the new TL

I'm glad you're still with us sir. It's unfortunate your one of a kind TL had to be t-boned like that. The system in the trunk looks like a clean install!

Nice purchase on the TypeS. If you end up going with the tein ss dampers you'll certainly enjoy them.

 

Yeah man you will be real happy with the Tein setup. I cant believe how low mine sits and yet never rubs, EVERYONE asks me if it rubs and look at me in confusion when I say never. I love the EDFC too, it blows people's minds.

 

Glad to see you back brother I'm sure you'll have a clean TL once you're done with it....

TLFourplay, you car looks beautiful, when i saw your pics i said "that how i want my ride to sit" it's a perfect drop!


i did salvage the RJ rear bumper are you kidding me, i spent a pretty penny on that thing! but im not sure what to do with it, it will not fit my new car because of the new exhaust tips. should i sell it or mod it to fit. i kinda like the new rear bumper. i don't know yet.

 

Congrats..forgot you said you were picking this up over the weekend. Looks good and the wheels will look stunnin with it.

 

thanks, the wheels will look sweet, but i don't think the tps will work with them. the wheels are multi-piece and have a crazy valve stem. i've talked to others that have aftermarket wheels without the sensors, they say the warning light is small and doesn't bother them. we'll see, maybe there's a way around this

Glad to see you back with us, and as far as the Tein SS go, I think you will love them. I got mine put on on Friday with the Greddy Strut bar and the top hats, be ready to pay alot on drilling the extra hole

Congrats on the new TL-S. I remember your original post when you crashed the old TL and I showed my dad. He was amazed at the fact that you were relatively unscathed from the accident. You made a wise decision to buy another TL.

the rims are 19"x 8.5 Maya RT5's.

 

that is one clean trunk setup.
