good start- you did use hi temp paint right?
and now you can clean and paint the center hub and rotor edge and make them look good too!

Not bad, quick questions, was priming not neccesary? Wouldn't that have giving the calipers a more smooths and sleek look after the high-temp paint was applied? Im gonna be doing this as well once I get my cross drilled/slotted rotors which already have a rust proof finish on the base (which is painted black) and rotor edges.
Thanks for your share.

If you use a wire wheel on a drill to clean them first- it really helps
If you buy the 10$ duplicolor caliper paint kit it has cleaner (carb spray) and a foam brush and a can of paint

I cleaned them up 1st, not shown in any pics.
If you give them a light sanding, yes they will be much smoother. I did use 500 F heat resistant spray paint. Its really used for engine blocks and will work excellent with brakes. The rears do about 30% of stopping so heat isn't going to be a huge issuse. Masking tape is a must. I half-ass'd all the masking, It looked like a rain storm was going to hit, so I did them pretty quick. Tomorrow Im going to do another 3 coats and by then I am totally done.

Nice paint job man. I did it the hard way; Unmounted & Dissasembled each caliper, taped & sprayed; 3 coats Duplicolor Metalcast "Ground Coat", then 3 coats Metalcast Anodized Red. The effect is amazing! Looks like the color of the tailights. Recommend it if you wanna go beyond plain old red.

Nice I really like them. I couldnt find the brust on application with the clear. Everywhere I went they had no black. I didn't really want to make my calipers really flashy in the rear since I have the acura brembos up front. When I do my rotor swap ill take care of the rears again and make them look much better. But for now I am pretty happy just because they don't look like they did before.
