Opinions wanted: Ms. New Booty
So I finally got around to putting the rear 08 TL-S Lip on a couple weeks ago on my 04 NBP TL. I wanted to know what you guys think good or bad. I'm pretty happy w/ the end results
Sorry for the crappy quality pics, my camera stinks.
Here's a shot w/ the current setup I had just before doing the work
(the old lip is subsequently for sale in the BM)
Here's a shot of my bumper after I cut her up
And here she is, all done!
For fun
FYI: The tips I used to replace the stocks are OEM Porche 997 tips I got off eBay for $40. I also plan on making a custom diffuser as soon as the grille mesh comes in the mail. So what do you guys think?

^^^^ yep noticed that too! it's too low. it should cover that small edge in the middle and almost touch the bumper to body line near the wheel well. you know that horizontal line on the side view.

Yeah, I know it sits a little too low. I think the holes I had to drill on the side of the bumper were too far down where the zip tie things go through but, by the time I was putting it back together it was getting dark out and I wanted my car back in one piece while I could still see. I'm gonna fix that when the grille mesh stuff comes in.

I like the tips, but I like my stock tip better. It doesn't look bad on your car.
I hope you are able to fix it... So it can be "Perfect", ya know? Plan ahead and don't start unless you know you have enough time and time to spare.

Haha, If I had $1100 to burn...I probably still wouldnt buy it. I got bills to pay and I like quiet And I see what you guys are saying about the tips. Pics don't really do it justice but I may end up straightening them out later on. The pic I was using for reference made the Type S' tips look slanted.
