Oh Man!!! This Is What I Want My Tl To Look Like!!!!
Hey everyone, so, I had a little time to kill at work so i decided to go outside and take some pics of my car (even though it's a rare cloudy california day) and I decided I wanted to photoshop some 20" Foose Speedsters on my car. These are the rims that I want to get for my TL. I decided to photoshop some rims which were a pain by the way with trying to make them look right and color matched to the cloudy day. Anyway, I just though I'd share some pics of what I would like my car to look like. I just bought it about 3 weeks ago and the first thing i did was 5% tint all the way around. in about a month or so, i'm trying to close a couple of clients so can can then get the rims... I hope you guys enjoy these pictures. I took a good hour taking the pictures and then photoshoping them, so I hope you guys like it.

Good job with the photo editing....I have also been looking into these wheels, but I am getting mixed responses regarding the recommended offsets for the TL. For 20x8.5, there is a 34mm and a 45mm offset. I would have guessed 45mm, because thats most similar to the stock offset, but I am not sure why some are suggesting 34mm???

Very nice, I really like the look. My sister has those in 6 spoke 24' inches on her Navigator.
I'm pretty sure sombody else has that set up already, too lazy to do a search but theres a chrome lip with black wheel and then theres a all chrome one...... Also I know some one elses TL was stolen and had those wheels. It was burnt to toast....

Ok first off
First off, thank you everyone for you compliments on my photoCHOP pictures. I'd just like to address a couple of things that I found out and if there is anything we can add to this list, it would help someone i'm sure.
1. These rims DO have slots cut out for the TPMS from the 2006 TL's so you can either reuse the ones from the factory rims/tires or buy new ones for around 140 bucks.
2. 235/30/R20 would give you the same diameter as the original stock tires, so your speedo would not be off and you shouldn't have any rubbing issues at all. This is in theory so if someone could comfirm it that would be great. Ol Blue eyes is the one who suggested that I go with a 235 instead of 245 to eliminate rubbing issues.
3. 245/35/R20 Are larger then the stock diamter so a shift in the speedo does occur. It is also recomended that you roll your fenders if any suspension modification is desired and the rim/tire combo with this size would cause much more weight to the wheels due to chrome/rubber so performance will suffer a bit. Credit goes to Ol Blue eyes with PMing me with this info.
I am looking to buy these rims within the next month so ANY info or advice would be greatly apprieciated. But please don't comment on the style/look of the rims because I fully understand that certain people have different tastes and I fully respect that, all i'm asking is if anybody has had experience with a 235/30/20 or 245/30/20 and if any info can be thrown our way.
Thanks again everyone.

My Dream Rims
These are my dream rims ... let me know what ya'll think. Please be nice, haha, sike, but don't rip me a new one if you don't really feel them. I'll be getting them probably in May '06.
They are the Zenetti Duece's ... 20 x 8.5 and are going to be wrapped in 235/30-20 Nitto 555 rubbers. And even tho I probably won't have much of gap ... I want to have the Tein SS suspension to close the wheel gaps, etc. if/when I put my car into car shows, etc. later on down the road. Since, Zenetti stopped making the 19" rims I'm forced to get the 20's. They are $2,200 out the door.
This pic was photoshopped thanx to my friend JPTLS in VA! Thanks again man!

Look them up on MHT's website, there are actually quite a few different models.

what are the complete specs on your fooster rims?

5x114.3 45mm offset
tires are Nitto Extremes 245/35 Z
These rims are specifically designed to clear cars with high performance brakes (such as the brembo brakes that all the manuals have, including mine)
Just a side note: Absolutely no rubbing from these, and the ride has not changed at all (minus the added weight). If you get a soft tire your ride won't change much or at all. I'm not sure which tires are soft, but I do know Nitto and Yokohama are two. You might want to ask a dealer or distributer for some others. Hope this helps.
