Brought the guide back to spec and she seems to be good again.

Rape, diversion.

Been busy with work and all. TL is going along great as my daily commuter....getting occasional thumbs up and looks which is awesome. Still loving it. Over 214k miles now (bought it last August at 197k...).

So no major changes yet except for routine maintenance stuff.

I'll be out of the country for about 5 weeks...and then when I get back...got some bigger things planned for this car to help revitalize it a bit more.....starting with exterior and the paint....found a great body /paint shop locally! can't wait to see it get basically repainted of hood/front bumper and lip/both fenders/rear bumper...and then will do whole car paint correction, and probably slap on PPF on full front end coverage as well. It's a pretty penny for all that...but as I drove it almost daily in the past year or so I've owned it...it's given me big smile each time and the more I drive it the more I know that I will keep it for a long time to come so might as well make it look nice. Especially with used car prices going bonkers now....

Tentative plan is for repainting and PPF in mid/late August.

Might get new tires also by then. The current set of achilles is decent but can get a bit sketchy during wet/rains....

Hell yeah bro. Maaaaybe just a little bit of buyer regret like 1-2 weeks after I got the car BUT that went away quickly and man every time I get in it...I get a big ol smile and it brings me lots of joy. Great great car for sure. And knowing it is a rare gem AND it is being driven...makes it all that much better.

GOnna do her right and take care of the body first. Still debating on what to do for dash...my local mechanic says he dont do dashes (understandable) so maybe just a cover/mat for now. Might get the steering wheel re-wrapped/THICC-ened in future....and depending on wife permission...might redo the front seat leathers also down the line. Really get it back to OEM+ status....not show condition but like 80% there would be perfect.

Keeping the 3G TL platform alive and going!!!

I wouldn't do the dash, unless you want to store it in a museum show piece. I would rather spend money on body work and seat cover where you can benefit every moment from driving the car.

Very very true. Hence the bodywork and seats.....like you said...real benefits in daily driving vs the dash which essentially is a purely cosmetic fix...that will then get cracked again in about 5-10 years....all about making the dollar go far for max benefit.

Dash might still crack in the museum!

Yeah, solid plan, man...I love the platform. Always have from the moment it showed up on the lot.
