I had one when I worked with SickTLS about 4 years ago, but sold it to pay for my wedding. I regretted every minute of that as I thought I would never be able to buy another one. It worked out with this one and I got a smoking deal on it. This one has a rhino lined stainless top and custom black moulding instead of the ugly chrome.

haha glad I could be of service to you. I loved them too minus the amber reflector. That had to go but SO glad I decided to go with gunmetal inside. It's a subtle change but such a drastic improvement i think.

So what does everyone think… I am getting the a-spec kit from the group buy so the chrome in the lower grills will be gone. Should I black out the A emblem in the front grill or black chrome it or leave it alone?

I say leave it alone. You will take away from the look of the CF wrap you did on the grill if you black out the A. Too much black on the grill just doesn't look right and you will make the grill look very plain then.

I probably hate chrome as much as you do but I say leave it chrome, it adds a nice contrast. I had a black emblem up front before and ended up switching it to black chrome.

I was able to recreate "black chrome" by 2 light coats of vht. Looks slightly blotchy up close but does create that look for cheap.

Duplicolor sells an actual "black chrome" paint that you are supposed to use on chrome emblems and even rims and stuff that supposedly looks awesome when it's done.

Nice yea I just got the ones from heeltoe but that would probably be a lot cheaper. Either way it will look better than regular chrome. Post some pics when you get it done!

Ok I have a couple of updates coming. Got pretty irritated with my painter. Got the rear and sides of my a-spec kit on but the bumper got "done" on thursday. After inspecting it I wasn't happy with the work. All of the area's facing down (like the tops of the fog light openings, lower part of the lip, and inside the fender well area including the top corner where it meets the fender) were not painted or half painted. So that got sent back to the painter and I still haven't heard from him so I am currently driving around with a busted front bumper and I already sold the factory lower grills so it looks even worse. Can't wait for this new bumper to be done.

Didn't know they sold black chrome in a can, I used to just use nighshades and clear over it to get the same look.

I think price was the issue with the ones that got made.
