Newest updates.

Got to play around with some free plasti-dip, Rolled my fenders (yes I rolled them myself), and installed my spacers. Running -3 degrees of camber in the rear and -1.4 in the front with no camber kits. Going to see how rough that is on my tires and see if I need a camber kit. (stopped using camber kits on my honda builds because as long as you keep the toe and caster zero'd out I never had any issues.)

this is all I taped off

Yea I know I didn't reply right away. Busy times at work so I don't get to get on the computer very often.

Small update and not a good one.

on 2/13/13 I was retarded and rear ended someone while trying to change lanes in traffic. I had just merged into the lane and was trying to get into the next lane on the right to take an exit. We were only moving at about 2-5mph but the right lane was moving at a decent speed. So I looked over my shoulder to make sure that I could make it and started to change lanes. Once I turned back around I noticed that traffic had come to a dead stop but it was too late. I hit the rear right of the person in front of me with the front left of my bumper. Stupid mistake but shit happens. I have never been involved in an accident where I was at fault like this so it sucks but in philly I guess it was just bound to happen.

Here is the damage my car took. Ordering custom headlights from JNC now and possibly doing the aspec kit so everything can be painted to match if need be. So in the end it actually may work out in my favor. Gotta see the good in everything right? haha.

The headlight basically exploded inside. The lens seems fine and the backing seems ok but all of the internals are destroyed.

Me in the process of pulling everything to get a more accurate quote from the insurance rep. Total damage came to just over 2000.

Ouch!

Glad it wasn't a bigger accident and you're okay.

Good for looking on the bright side, now you get modded headlights and A-Spec

Yea I am very fortunate it wasn't bad. It is honestly more like a parking lot accident as we weren't even really moving. But with all of the close calls I have had here that WOULD have been MUCH worse I am ok with something this small.

I just can't stop getting lucky lol. Went to search around for 3M carbon fiber vinyl and stumbled on a sale of the 1080 scotchprint stuff. Then while I thought that was a good deal amazon was running another special that if approved for their visa card you could get a 30 dollar gift card. So I did it and got it shipped to my house for a 48x60 roll for 10 bucks!

WINNING

LMAO...
Muffinman...sorry to read about this, man. But like you said, you look at it in a positive light and end up being able to make it better after. My bumpers could stand a respray and haven't been in any accidents. I'm always getting on my wife about how long she looks back when merging over...it all can happen so fast. Glad you're fine...

PS...you looking sell those messed up headlights? or even just the lenses? Or you work something out with JNC already?

Yes... I can't believe how good they look. I am SO happy with the results. Thank you so much with working with me. I know I can be hard to deal with sometime lol and I changed my mind on the color a couple of times but at the last minute I came up with the gunmetal and SO SO glad I did.

I LOVE the way they look.

you do amazing work. You should make some stickers or something for advertising. I will be spreading the word for you that they were done by you.

I couldn't be happier with them. Drove in the rain today and everything seems good. Already have people PM'ing me about the original lights asking what I am doing with them. I guess they will be in the BM soon unless JNC wants them. So happy. I also got my 3000k HID fogs installed so that added to this setup. Just got my new switchbacks from VLED's as the iJDMtoy kit was purple and I returned them. Crossing my fingers that these match a little better.

Just a few updates. Carbon fiber wrapped my front grill with the new scotchguard 3M vinyl

Now I just need it to stop raining/snowing so I can clean it and take better pics.

also got THIS for work. Finally have a box worth putting tools in.
