Wow.... nice looking wheels. Im a huge fan of simple, clean nice looking 5 spoke wheels. Some of the designs get to be a bit much, in this case less is certainly more....

for the fitments.... my choices were limited
8.5" wheel = +22, or +42
9.0" wheel = +18
9.5" wheel = +22, or +42
8.5" wheel +35, was only available on 5x120 fitment....
the rear wheel sits really nice and flush... i've been thinking of running 9.5" all around, but i already got these 4... so i'll probably stick with them for a while...
LIGHT AS FCK.... i lifted it with a pinky... you'd swear this wheels were made of plastic

In retrospec, its like rocking sbc 04 to 06 stock![Tomato](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/tomato.gif)
No but seriously, a 10mm in the fronts would really make a hell of a difference

i was gonna go with those but the bright chrome don't look as good on a ASM TL. but it DOES look really nice on your TL. you've made a good choice in rim selection!

I waited... hmmm 36 hours... i paid for them wednesday night, on my door stop on friday afternoon (last week)
Stoptechs... put them in during septemeber... the pads have 9k... DONE... im not very pleased with this setup, but i'll tell you.. very MINIMAL brake dust
it was a cheap fix, next brake upgrade will be more $$ and much more impressive...
what do ya think.... red calipers? or nah....

36 hrs! LMAO
you must have patients grasshopper
i know you've been looking for some wheels i thought you had ordered them and you were waiting for them. my wheels took like 4 months to get
but im glad i waited.
whats wrong with the brake set up? stopping power sucks? 9k and they are done? with no brake dust? whats wearing out?
the red calipers would look clean. let me guess rotora BBK? i i were gonna do anything to my calipers it would be to paint them red. but i would do it right. remove all four and have them powder coated gloss red. would be cheaper than a BBK those are $$$

^ cant powder coat OEM brembos....
i purchased a set of new calipers, to bring to a powder coater.... but, when reading the service manual, it said CLEARLY IN BOLD letters, not to disassembled the caliper
powder coating, requires putting the caliper in an "oven" to bake the paint on... (400 degrees) and it usually melts the seals on the caliper
so, you have to disassembled, but generally, you weaken the integrity of the seals, and they may not hold anymore
i've been checking out mmade22's DIY on painting them.. and i want to do it, but i feel like it wont come out as nice and smooth as the OEM black finish
Rotora BBK is big $$$$ for the Brembo setup... you need to buy the 14" 2pc kit up front, which requires 18" wheels or bigger (stock wheels wont clear it).. then i would want a rear 13" bbk to match... but together, thats like $3400
...and lets not forget my mishap with the last BBK i put on my car... i think my friends and family would really lose faith in my intelligence if i put the BBK on again...
.... tough decisions.....

really? i know they are an important part of the car but they are just seals there has to be a way to take them apart without harming the integrity. how complicated are they? no painting then would not give you the finish you are looking for.

^ my mechanic (and just about any "good" mechanic) will state they can rebuild them... i have faith in the caliper being rebuilt, but i talked with a few people... and it was really advised against... because even if you use new seals, its not about the seals failing... its about them getting back into the caliper trouble free...
Acura themselves, will NEVER rebuild the brembo calipers, only replace... if a brembo caliper has a failed seal under warranty, you get a whole new caliper....
mmade22 did a pretty damn good job of painting his calipers though....

i wonder if u can powdercoat stoptech's/rotora's
I'm a tad bit surprised about not being able to powercoat the OEM Brembo BBK's allon.. I've seen some guys with the e92's powercoat their 6-piston BBK's.. I will try to find some pics to show you what i am talking about..
