very nice Steven and Buda! LED's look good. what kind of epoxy or silicone did you use, how long and what temp did you bake them after you glued them back together?
im going to try my luck at this headlight modding stuff. the ones i have now were done by a shop, i'll be doing it myself this time.

Jaime, this definitely is your next mod! We got some black epoxy/silicone at the auto parts store. We baked the headlights at 200 degrees for 20 minutes. Buda said the key to this is to make sure the oven is completely cooled down before you put the 2nd headlight in the oven. I didn't realize that you've got to put the headlights in the oven a 2nd time when you're putting them back together.

Steven that looks amazing man!
I finally got around to blacking out my headlights this past weekend and I'm so much happier going that route than keeping that tint on.
Like you, I was pretty nervous as parts kept flying off of the car, but it was well worth it. Once again congrats

^^^ Thanks brother! Post some pics of your headlights. I had to take my tints off too (sorry Blue Batmobile) when we did the LED's !!!

And the tint was more of a temporary fix for me, it just took me a year to get around to blacking out the lights

It was a lot of work-but REALLY worth it. They look so classy! You know, once you get the headlights back on the car, you think, "wow, we're close to being done." But you still have to wire them in-which takes time too.

Steven, this looks sick man...Nice job! You need to come to NC in December for the meet....I can see this ride in person and I will embroider your headrests for free. Just bring the leather material and you are golden. Looks like you have the mod bug.

I will Draztic. I'll try to shoot some more pictures for you tonight. I actually haven't looked at them from far away yet. But a guy at work stopped me when I pulled in to the parking lot this morning and was raving about the new LED's.

AkPlaya, send your headlights to JNC and let him do your headlights. Then have a custom audio shop wire them up for you. If you want to wire them like I did, tell them you want it wired up to the green windshield wiper wire that's in a cluster that is close to the firewall on the driver's side.

Updated night shots for draztic.
OK, as promised, here are some night shots I took this evening. This will give you an idea of what the LED's look like at night-two shots with the DRL's on and two with the headlights on.
With the flash engaged....
Draztic, I hope this is what you wanted to see.

^^^That's a difficult question to answer. What would be easy for one person (like JnC) would be difficult for another (like me!) Luckily, Buda has cleared his headlights and inserted Angel Eyes in his, so he knew what he was doing.
But it did take us all day to do. By the time you take the nose off the TL, remove the headlights from the car, bake them, insert the LED's and drill holes for wiring, then re-bake the headlights and reseal them, re-installing them into the car. Then....run wiring. Finally put the nose back on the car-it's a pretty involved job and day!

New update-saturday, october 31st.
Guys the amber turn signal bulbs came in yesterday. I just got home from the radio station and installed them...WOW !!!!
These are switchback bulbs that are white when the headlights are on. But they blink amber when you turn on a turn signal. Here are pictures of each.
With the headlights on (no amber....yea!)
I got lucky and snapped a shot with the turn signal on-so you can see the amber turn signal engaged.
It's gone now! I'm VERY happy with the results. Now on to the next mod!!!!
