New to Forum - saying hi
Hi Everybody,
I'm new to this forum and feel like a real jerk posting here because I don't have any pictures of my TL yet. I just bought a used '05 white/tan w/ NAV and spoiler - bone stock, but perfectly clean. I'll post pics if you guys want 'em, but I'm sure its nothing you haven't seen 100X!
I want to post in the black market because I want to buy '07-'08 OEM wheels, but it requires 15 posts... so here I am with numero uno. Darn these rules! I apologize in advance if this is a bad thing to do, but I figure you've got to start posting somewhere!
I'm a pretty big Acura/Honda fan and have been a member of the NSXPrime forums for a while now, here are a few shots of my NSX so that I'm not picture-less.

No major plans for the TL. Maybe a SC and new wheels, but I think I'll keep the look mostly stock. I have a '98 CL that I've managed to keep stock for ages - though it wasn't easy. Who knows though, I'm sure after browsing these forums I'll have a change of heart.
princelybug, beautiful TL... I love black. It's my favorite color on the TL, but white is runner up in my mind and it seemed lower maintenance. When I was looking for the TL, I drove the NSX to one of the owner's homes and he made the same offer... type-s and everything!

VegasRPh - WOW, your type-s looks AMAZING! The gunmetal wheels paired with the anthracite color is a great combo. I was never a really big fan of the color, but your type-s works perfectly with it!
I usually fly out to Vegas and if I drive, it isn't with the NSX. Though I have been considering going turbo and the leading NSX turbo shop, FactorX, is out there... so the X might just make it out there after all. Though its tough to pull the trigger since their setup is $20K+ and a comptech super charger w/ install is half that.
So far I've seen a beautiful black and anthracite type-s. Anybody have one in white?

Welcome to AcuraZine red! Nice to see another Arizona resident here! Love the NSX as well. Absolutely my favorite car ever made by Honda/Acura.

Don't feel like a jerk for not having pictures of your TL. Everyone starts somewhere. I'd bet that a vast majority of people here on Azine didn't have pics when they first joined. Oh yeah BTW, that's a gorgeous car you posted. welcome to the club.

My color is CBP (Carbon Bronze Pearl) it is new for the 07-08 TL. It doesn't "look" BRONZE at all in the sunlight.........straight "gunmetal". However, in the garage or dim light.......you can definately see the BRONZE color.
The wheels pretty much match the car.........slightly diff color, but very close.
If you ever bring your NSX to Vegas..........holla at me.........love to see it!!

ACCURATEin - You think my front yard is low maintenance, you should see the back... salt water pool and basketball sports court. All landscaping, front and back, is on a drip system... I pretty much never have to touch a thing, it's great!
VegasRPh - Good info on the new color, CBP. You can tell I'm new here. Either way, the car looks awesome in that combo.
Sweet07TL-S - Thanks for the encouragement. I'm glad that the rules here aren't so strict as they are at NSXPrime. There, the self appointed forum nazis are constantly on the prowl, and you pretty much have to verify NSX ownership before doing much talking. It's okay because we're a relatively small and tight-knit group, but the members can be quite abrasive if you step on an unprinted rule. It's a great site though!
jayunsplanet - I know several NSX+TL owners. In general, I've noticed that NSX enthusiasts are not necessarily Honda/Acura lifers. Many are, but in my experience most of them are just car nuts. Their daily drivers vary, but its usually the same fare - Acura, BMW, Lexus, Auidi, VW, etc. Many of them own several sports cars, so it is not uncommon to meet an owner with a Lambo, F-car, 911, or even Vipers and Corvettes! Though the latter two are certainly less common. It just goes to show you that we appreciate all cars for their different qualities - except those cars that have none.
