New to the forum with Pictures!
Hello all,
I recently purchased... as in last Monday... a 2007 Acura TL Type S in kinetic blue pearl. Since I got the car I have been searching on line and found a lot of great information from this site so I figured I should join These are cell phone pics so they are not the greatest but wanted to share anyway. I plan to mod the car a little as I can't keep anything stock including a CAI, probably put in a better J pipe and maybe the Pre-cat deletes. All info I got from searching on this site. I will post up more pics and the interior in a couple days when I have some time and it's light out.

haha, im new to this forum, but not new to forums in generally. My summer toy is a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am so I know to search through everything before I ask any questions. Also it seems this forum has a ton of information, more than any other forum I am on. Thanks!

tint will probably happen sooner than later. As for the Aspec kit, i have been looking and im not too sure how I feel about it ha. It will take some thinking back and fourth on that one. I do plan on doing coilovers in the future and I am looking to find a strut tower bar ASAP to try to stiffen up the front for stock. Chances are the first thing I'll do is the AEM v2 CAI and a J pipe of some sort (still need to figure out which one to get) these things will prob be done in the next month or two.

haha, i know it does have a strut tower, but where i live the roads are pretty twisty an a better tubular one i think will work better. I have felt the difference changing stock strut bars in other cars out. Thanks for all the comments everyone. I will post pics of the 6 speed interior soon

i think you would be much happier with a 24mm progress rear swaybar than a new front strut tower bar.

your trans am is a rwd so changing out the bar most likely helped you, but the TL is fwd and more prone to understeer. repacing the rear sway bar will result in the rear of the car being more flat going through corners, twists, and turns. it will somewhat reduce understeer, compared to having the stock bar.

I really wanted a manual trans car and they are just really hard to find. I lucked out with this one. It was close to my house and i really love the KBP color. I guess people just don't drive MTs anymore, its kinda sad ha.

You're lucky you were able to find something really close to you. The closest Type-S in 6MT to me is in FL, but it has the taupe interior which I hate lol. I'm still on the hunt for a Type-S with ebony interior but this stupid dealership hasn't called me back yet. Guess they don't want my money.

haha, there are actually 8 6 speeds within 500 miles of me in all different colors. There is actually a KBP 6 speed with the ebony interior about an hour away from me BUTTTT they want 32,000 for it...
