for exhaust, please get rid of that "fart can" and get either ATLP base or quad, XLR8 or RV6 dual exhaust system other than that I would leave my exhaust system stock.

How do you guys feel about a non resonated xlr8 exhaust?
My exhaust now has the mid muffler delete and two cans...sounds good but it's pretty fn loud with to much drone while cruising around 60 MPH.....any info is appreciated, an yes I youtubed them but its hard to judge.

That would be the RV6 j-pipe and Trudual cat back

I got it last year from a guy who bought it but ended up having to sell for financial reasons.

Got it 2 months after I bought my car and lucked out extremely getting it.

And those are oem visors on my car purchased through: Ack05tl

Heres the exhaust I finally got under the car and noticed he must have cut out the mid muffler and quite a bit of piping its def. a bigger size that stock and its welded good atleast lol.

Heres how the rear connects to the mufflers....

Believe it or not the exhaust sounds amazing but I don't like the look of the two big cans on the back and tooooo much drone while cruising. Anyone interested in buying? lol

I might pick up a nice non resonated xlr8 exhaust and I eventaully want a jpipe....Is it going to be obnoxiously loud and have drone still?

Or should I throw some new mufflers on my exhaust I have now with some nice dual tips and get the jpipe anyways. I'm looking for good sound and as much performance as I can get without spending a ton. I still need an intake! lol oh and clear my headlights, new oem visors, wheels, new front bumper.....I have the mod bug bad and its not going to go away. HELP

I'm an acura noooob!

We are both of the same breed lol. We know we could have went on and on talking about details over and over about cars haha. I'm throughly going to enjoy that intake. My friend has a civic SI and keeps messing with me to run him, I haven't yet, the CAI will give me that touch more confidence to smoke his ARSE. I told him anyways, I can beat you in my car, then swap cars and beat you with your own car hahahaha.

I have a few trophies from drag racing, and won a few autocross events with my a4. He knows who he's messing with but he thinks he has like 70 extra hp from his dc sport headers, race cat, exhaust and intake. Mind you after his install he was at my garage and I was helping him tighten everything up and screwing in his o2 sensor that was about to fall out haha. I charged him a 12 pack lol

I'm super stoked I got an intake off of a car that is featured in a magazine and articles haha(not having an idea before I bought it lol)! I'm also happy I got one of the best options out there. You were great to deal with! Let me know when you need to get rid of some goodies!

lol, thats hilarious. You're a good friend for helping his lame ass. HAHAHA. I have friends who cant perform a fluid change, then expect me to do a tranny swap for them when it blows up. I know they would be of zero help, so I've said no many times

You sound like me when i described the exhaust i wanted, i (just recently) became the owner of a XLR8 V2 Resonated exhaust and if you want a mean sound/good performance, without the drone then this is the set up for you. It sounds perfect and ABSOLUTELY no drone on the highway...look into it but hear it in person and you'll see exactly what I'm talking about

Best of wishes on your new whip man, and wait for a deal on the BM (black market) helps out people who are ballin on a budget like me

Well just to update a bit....its been awhile.

I have installed in this order

Custom CAI with heat wrap from Gerzand(Gerzand is the man, love the intake)
RECALL of power steering hose and wiper motor(Took an MDX for the day, free wash)
Subwoofer(Went from kicker comp 15" to Alpine Type R 12", YUMMY)
2 12" resonators(Toned her down a tad)
Interior and exterior krautoled.com kit(EPIC FOR THE PRICE) loved this simple mod
Custom Jpipe/cat delete(LABREE dang more power, dang she's loud, LOW CAR APPROVED)
RV6 V3 PCDS(Holy Hell she's loud, raspy between 3.5k and 4.4k)
I'm lowered on TEIN springs, I installed spacers to compliment

AWAITING INSTALL

BISIMOTO Stage 2 CAMS(Bought from GERZAND)
TIMING BELT KIT
19" staggered MMR Eurotek wheels
Type S tails
All black sidemarkers

I removed the horrid OEM visors and I've done a lot of updating, cleaning, etc etc.

I'm going to post some pictures in a bit!

That's a big list of mods already. How do you like the Type R 12" compared to the Kicker CVR 15" ? What amp, ohms, and how many watts is your 12" wired up?

Also what made you buy LEDs from "krautoled.com" (I never heard of them before) instead of the more popular www.vleds.com ? Prices from VLEDs are cheaper and they offer 5k pure white or 6k white w/ hint of blue. They also sell A LOT of different types of LED bulbs like 921 for reverse lights, 9005 for daytime running lights, h8 for fog lights, 7440/7443 for turn signals, 1157 for type-s turn signals, LED strips, etc...

Well I love the type r....the 15 wasn't as clean. Type r is very strong and crisp. I'm running an 800 watt amp bridged nothing special at all. Its loud as it is. I'm on the factory deck maintaining the subwoofer control through the stock deck which I love! When people are in the car I can turn it up or down from my drivers seat. Cost effective also.

Krautoled is run by a local and he actually used my car as a template so to say and gave me a great deal. I believe he charges 60-70 for the entire kit which includes interior exterior and reverse bulbs. He uses mainly canbus bulbs. His website is way out of date as he is in the process of moving and has been going to a lot of auto shows

How are the LED's from Krauto? Did you do dull interior?

Update pics as soon as the wheels go on. I'm a fan of the Eurotek 03 and 06.

Well guys I had a long week/weekend got the timing belt service done at 75k, I did belt pump and all pulleys, plugs, coolant flush and water wetter, stage 2 bisimoto cams are in, serpentine belt, valve adjustment you name it! I also put my rims on in the process so all at once I'm more than happy with her!
