Neuspeed Supercup Kit Installed!! Pics Inside!!
So I finally got a REAL DROP this time after swapping out my A-spec suspension to the neuspeed supercup kit! Shocks are Koni sp3 with neuspeed sport springs. The install wasnt too bad but real PITA was compressing and uncompressing those springs
. Overall, i must say that i am happy with the performance and look and think that i am done with changing out this suspension for good. This is the first suspension on a car that I have ever done and after doing my a-spec (had it for less than 10k) and now the neuspeed, i dont think i wanna touch it anymore. did i mention i am still sore??
Anyway the a-spec suspension performed flawlessly however the front gap just bothered me everytime i looked at the car. Just didnt make the SSM look right but now it sits PERECT IMO!!
I recommend this kit to anyone looking for a compromise btwn looks, ride comfort and performance. I know we all arent rich but for $600 shipped...i dont think that is a bad deal at all.
In terms of ride quality, the ride on full soft is VERY "cushiony" (defintely softer than a-spec....about OEM quality) but still handles somewhat well. Koni suggest to set the shocks to FULL SOFT for a 500 miles to get the most life out of the shocks. I will adjust them when i get a little more than halfway there. I dropped the car on the 3rd perch all around as i didnt want my tires to look "tucked" but rather have about a 1/2" gap all around. Though the following pics dont depict that, i think after the springs settle ill get a little more drop out of them. Nonetheless, I am very happy thus far.
NOW ONTO THE PICS....
INSTALL PICS (what i remebered to take pics of at least...lol):

OMFG, I just received the same exact kit, and I currently have aspec just like you did.
When you took your "after" pics, how much gas did you have in your tank? The reason why I ask is because the TL naturally has an uneven wheel gap with the front bigger than the back, and this is exacerbated with a full tank of gas.
The sport springs are 1.75 lowering in the front and 1.5 lowering in the back, and I'm wondering if that difference is enough to correct it being uneven.
Please post pics when the suspension has settled!
It'll help me determine my settings...

It also depends on your transmission. They make different springs for different TL's, so a 5AT will sit slightly lower in the front than a 6MT because the transmission weighs more.

The sport springs for the 03 and up Accord V6 are part number 55.20.56, which is what the OP has. These springs advertise a 1.75 drop in the front and 1.5 drop in the back.
If that's not low enough, you can do the race springs (default configuration on the Neuspeed Supercup kit on the Neuspeed website), which is part number 55.20.57. These springs advertise a 2.25 drop in the front and a 1.75 drop in the back. Coupled with the lowest perch setting, you'll be able to tuck with this setup.
The OP said that he set it at the 3rd perch, which is the middle perch that it's set at when you take the Konis out of the box. If set at the lowest perch, you can go 1/2 inch (just eyeballing it on the shock itself) lower.

Looks nice! I was thinking of doing this too. You may have just convinced me. that is about what i want.
I'm worried about the accord being lighter than our TL's, would that make ride quality different or the shocks can be adjusted to compensate? thanks, sorry for the highjack

Looks great! Neuspeed supercup kit is very nice for the money. I rode in my friends car (ifirahse) and it handled amazing like turning on rails. He had the race springs thoughs so I am not sure how much of a difference there is but Im sure the sport still handles pretty damn good.
I'm looking at your rear pics, it doesn't look like you lined up the shock correctly with the top hat. The "koni" logo should be facing outwards, not towards the front or rear. I don't think it should be much of a problem, but I just remember reading that in the install DIY.
I have the race springs set at the stock perch in the front and second from bottom in the rear. The front is completely tucked while the rear has a ~1 finger gap, which should become tucked once I put the rear seats back in.
Good call on breaking in the shocks, I'm currently riding on full-soft also.

Also I'd doublecheck the price. Neuspeed sells the cup kit so cheap they don't offer wholesale discount on it. I don't see how he could be tossing in free shipping without losing money. Then again, if he is doing it I'd jump on it!

Settling is a myth. It won't settle any more than what is has already unless he put in new bushings. And it doesn't look as though he did.

Car looks great! Keep us updated with how the kit feels when you tighten things up.
BTW do you plan a keeping those A spec springs. I'll takem off your hands
. Im in milwaukee, too! I plan on doing the a specs w/ koni yellows.

Since you're on the softest settings, how much body roll you have? I have a crap load and I didn't adjust it yet, just left it as it is. I'm planning on stiffing the rears to max and stiffing the fronts a little when i get my GC Coilover Sleeves.
Ok, so 3rd perch is out of the box and thats the softest setting? and its drop that low? I might have to consider this setup. How is the ride on softest setting? Im in NY and the roads are no friends to suspension they hate eachother. On bumpy conditions, does the suspension hold good?

thanks bro...19s are sittin in the living room.
ur 19" dishes with dat drop are sick!!
yea bro! thanks! im all in love wit her again!! im waiting for the weather to get a bit better and for the city to fill in these damn potholes out here b4 i slap the wheels on
thanks man...ill be selling the aspec shocks in the bm soon. id rather sell the complete assembly but well see maybe we can work sumtin out
with the settings on FULL SOFT, i must admit it does roll a bit and is a little floaty at times compared to the aspec suspension.BUT it still handles waayyy better than OEM imo
thanks bro!!
i want to bring it to the meet but i think im gonna be in ATL for a conference that weekend
....so pissed about it...but im sure there will be plenty more meets. photoshoot???
on the softest settings...the suspension is super comfortable...i cant even lie. handling is decent as well but i have to go a bit stiffer to get that superb handling as i like to zip around every now and then. but to answer ur question....u cant defintely ride on full soft if you dont want to maximize ur handling capabilties.
