neuronbob's TL w/RonJon 1pfs...**56k BEWARE**
I am totally thrilled about my installed new features. As some of you regulars know, I was considering upgrading to an RL or M35x six months ago. Instead, I decided to spend a fraction of what I would have for a down payment for one of these cars on mods for my TL. Buying about a mod a month during the winter, I was finally able to have my dealer install everything today. The installation is: Ronjon Devotion 1pf polished wheels, Comptech RSB, A-Spec body kit, and badge. Anyhoo, I'll shut up and show you the pix. Enjoy!
Oh, one more note: These particular 1pfs have a story....they were supposed to be used on a tuner TL in Cali, but they arrived a bit too late. When I expressed my interest in the 1pf group buy, Ron had them shipped from Cali back to NYC for inspection, then shipped them to me before Christmas. I'd call that good service.
They look even hotter in real life than they do in the pix.
OK, I'll shut up again.

Thanks for the comments, all.
Ah yes, the famous neuronbob™ review.....that will come when I've had a chance to put the car through its paces. Since I'm off for the first time in about a month this weekend, I'll be able to do that. Preliminarily: The hit on ride quality is minimal with these 18's (remember: I have the A-Spec suspension, too). I haven't done enough freeway driving to comment on the RSB yet. Gaddam, I love the way these wheels look . Though I realize some may feel there's too much "bling" for a SSM car, I think it's just fine.
The tires are 235/40/18 as recommended by Ron. Good enough for me, as it does provide a little rim protection. I could've gone 245 but didn't, maybe next time.
And I'm slow to tint because I'm so afraid of having said tint scratched up after only a short time...just have to find a quality vendor.

Not too bling at all NB. I'm not too big on chrome, but those look very nice. I think because the spokes aren't that fat. It also looks very classy. Btw, are the Kumhos very quiet? How's it ride?
Thanks
Thanks

Wow, looks sweet! how's she drive with all that lost weight, feels more light footed, huh. I got a pair of 18" devotions as well I plan to use on the track when we get to E-Town. Glad you like em.

Thanks, Ron. So another set of 18's gets to go to the race track, eh? Too bad I don't race. My launches would suck and I'd probably be the only TL in the 16's. You can almost feel the weight loss in the steering. I plan to take it to the limits when the weather dries out tomorrow around here. Then I'll write a review.
Stylez, as my signature says, I have the full body kit (just installed yesterday) and the suspension kit (installed 22 months ago). I never bought the A-Spec wheels because these are better-looking to me. The RonJons are a one-piece forged aluminum wheel with an advertised weight of one pound per inch. I actually weighed mine and they are closer to 17 pounds than 18. They're light enough that uninstalled, I can carry each with only one hand. The 18" A-Specs, on the other hand, are still 22-24 pounds each if memory serves--I'll have to look it up to be sure.

Yeah, we can do what the Houston guys did--just get together for a photo shoot. It'd be great to get that guy from Canton with the RJ kit (sorry, I'll have to look up his name) to complete the picture.
Did you sell your TL or do you still have it?
Anybody else from Northeast Ohio interested in a quick meet?

Now I have, since I now know about it. My car won't win any prizes but it sounds like a good time. Besides, I bought my wife's Accord at the sponsoring dealership and it's near my neighborhood, so I have no choice but to show up.
