Red face Need Help With Wheels

OK guys I am just posting this here because I know I probably would get the most feed back from this side of the forum. I asked this on the RL side and got very little responses. I hope you guys could help me out here.

I am thinking about getting ACE Allure Rims. Thanks to ballinfizzle
I am "famous" for the chrome attack on my cars, and now a little hesitant in putting the chrome on the RL.

Well these are the ACE ALLURE. They are going to be in twenties. I am already lowered 1.5 inches:
chrome

Silver

My heart was set on the Varianza T1s but those wheels are just too much dough. I was ready to post pictures since I know this is the 3G part of the forums and I feel more at home over here. Before I post I KNOW these are the Varianza T1s but they have very similar designs and you guys could get an idea on how they look on the cars. The big question is CHROME OR SILVER!

I believe this is Acurajj:

Ambigous626:

My car:

Also would someone be loving and caring to photoshop so I can get a stronger idea on which wheel I should move forward with?

Thanks,
Shawn

Here is I believe AcuraJJ TL.

I personally hate chrome, but on the RL, I think either would look good.

But honestly, I think you should get the A-Spec kit before the rims.

Chrome plating on cheap(er) wheels looks terrible, it can only be pulled off on high end wheels because of the methods they use IMO. But in general, I think most chrome wheels look cheesy That is a really hard color to do anything with, but either silver or brushed aluminum would look tits.

Thanks for the insight. It is really hard to choose the wheels. If I choose the varianzas, the mugen kit will not be here for another year.

+2

I think chrome draws too much attention to the wheels. You want your car to be noticed, not your wheels.

Reason being:

These rims are almost 700$ a wheel. It is not a problem buying them when it comes to the $$, it is that I live in brooklyn and to toss on wheels these expensive you are going to have a lot of s. The roads are terrible in NYC. I would be highly upset if I bent a rim or damaged it.

Ex to the s :

When I had the TL and it became heavily modded in a short period of time, you should have seen the amount of key marks and dents i recieved out of no where. There are alot of jealous people in the NYC area man. But i am def. going to double think about getting the works

Ive got those (ACE) wheels sitting in my closet right now.....Mine are powder coated white though.

Decent wheels.

Id go silver....may look funny with the fake rivets in chrome.

if your going to 20's definetly chrome hands down. On a luxury car like the RL, you want nothing but class, chromies are more appropiate
