NBP/OZ/G2 (2 pics 391K each)

one poster had asked for a side shot as close as possible. here's one, crappy day for pics with my cheapo 3Mp camera.

just some notes.

these 18" Superleggera OZ rims have paddle spokes. paddle spokes seem to collect more dirt and less brake dust than the 17" oem's i had.

tires are ST115's. ride nice. today i made fronts 34psi and rears 32psi.

i used some G2 black caliper paint. 2 coats ussing just half of the G2 material. if you mix half use small ball jar or the like, acetone cleans up G2. and i cheaped out, painted calipers on rotor using supplied brush and a old fine tipped model paint brush, looks pretty good.

next week i get Huper Optik Ceramic-40, and Ceramic-60 on sunroof.

I'm in the minority here on this one but I don't care for the wheels. I think the OEM ones look better. Sorry.

yeah, i think the majority consensus here was that a strong 5-spoke rim goes best, but i chose these OZ's using a few metrics (looks, weight, value, strength, reputation, fitment).

i can't seem to get good pics, the pics do not show what these rims look like in person. maybe i need to go buy a 8Mp camera....

cheers

holy crop batman! I think the wheels are going to jump out of my LCD and attack!

Got any 640x480 resolution pics at different angles?

...if you want to talk large, I could always link a RAW format pic....nah I won't.

Thanks for posting the side views bud...

It's only been a month... jeeeeeeeeeeesh.... JK

I do like that second shot. (great shot for a 3MP...)

I still love those wheels... (still don't quite know for mine... but that is one of the choices for sure....)

Ciao

Salut

OZ Superleggera's need to be seen in person to be apreciated. I never thought much of these wheels until I saw them in person on a car. Nice job.

ones with closed heads, the open headed ones let the elements eat away at the lug studs causing problems later down the line. Get some tuner lugs that are closed headed, and all locking if possible (ones that have a special lug design) so it can't be removed by just any lug wrench

the pic is misleading, they are closed headed lugnuts. they have concave centers.

cheers

ahh, upon examination, you are correct sir! I'd still get a lug similar to the locking nut, so the other 4 lugs can't be removed by a normal lug wrench
