How much did it cost?

Did you use the moleskin?

What size wheels?

Thanks in advance for the info.

sure,
1. Mike Pisano 631-395-9330
2. cost me $480 because it was extra $30 for sunroof
3. i will use moleskin, wipers are out while tint drys
4. rims are 18" with 245/40 tires

tell Mike "cvajs sent me" and you'll get $25 off.

if you do use Mike please let me know. after so many jobs he completes from me making this referral, i may have to bust his chops to get some free tint on my Tacoma.

ITS ABOUT FUCKING TIME....

HOW LONG HAVE WE BEEN WAITING FOR THESE PICS... DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMNNNN J/K

On a serious note... those pictures finally do your rims justice...

Great shots... and yes I do believe that they look beautiful on your car...

(still an option for me... although may go with the Superturismo...)

Very, very, very cool bud...

Amiably,
Salut

my pics are from my canon optura xi with wide angle lens on some shots. still crappy pics, max res of the camcorder pics is only 2Mp. i really need a 5Mp or 8Mp camera...

for those with white TL, Superleggera in white may be kickass site to see.

Superturismo's (WRC or GT ?) are also very nice, i just did not like the way the spoke reached all the way out to the rim lip, but nonetheless a very nice rim too.

i think Leggera or Turismo give that "luxury" look as opposed to the very very sprty look of say the RonJon Inspyres

I know what you mean but I love the even spacing of the spokes and as you mention later you get that "luxury" look and I would even add "understated elegance" as well as "classic sportiness"

price is what it is. car is at 35215 (selling for less of course) with the extras on it, and that is just cost, no time and effort included.

factoring in some other costs (shipping, etc) i'm taking a good loss.

like i said, if the car does not sell, so be it, i'll drive it until i have the urge to buy the 2005. i may just buy the 2005 and keep my 2004

and btw, you can probably buy a base 2005 with navi for the same price i'm selling my 04 (well, don't forget tax and title and all that crud). i just happened to like the extras i have done thus far.

I am just checking all my options in respect to your car because I have a choice of a few used TL's ranging from a low of $24,500 to a high of $29,000.

heck, at that price i would go for it, then you can choose exactly what options/extra stuff you want to thrown into the car.

IMHO, if the 24.5 car is in good shape i would go for it and you can certainly get the stuff that i have for way less than 10k.

it's all about lighting. once you get the lighting part down then it's easy to experiment with some wide angle lenses and filters.

the pics i posted were only 2Mp JPEG's, which does not say much, the Optura Xi only takes pics at 72dpi and using crappy JPEG. i wish it was 144dpi in Targa, but i'll only find hi-res Targa from a very good digital camera (on my list of toys to get). if you're looking for a digi camera, make sure it's "hi-res", the Mp rating does not mean much, if a 8Mp camera is only 72dpi then all you get is a large canvas size (but still is a grainy picture). a 144dpi takes much sharper and deeper looking shots, and JPEG is just a very crappy lossy compression so you can store many on the media, etc.

nightime/dusk shots (like the very nice white TL near the bridge posted) requires either some special exposure techniques or some object lighting (which would have enhanced the TL but kept the nice backdrop).

as for me getting 2005 TL (NBP it would be for me), maybe, but i have other things right now to worry about...

thanks for the comments on the pics, hope to have more when Eibach springs go in....

cheers
