NBP Grille & Black Chrome Emblem

Just got my car back, I painted the grille NBP and switched the badge to Black Chrome one from Weir Canyon Acura. Let me know what you think! .. and yes I know it needs a wash.

Very nice. I really want to put black chrome emblems on mine as well.

Have you considered smoking your headlights? Is it a 6MT

Yes, but I don't have the balls to actually do it. I'm sure I'll manage to screw it up. I wish I could find someone in Dallas to do it.

So did you have to go to Weir, or just order over the internet? Was it hard to install? I want the black chrome as well. I think it would look good on my WDP.

Streese - I ordered mine from Weir, if I remember correctly I talked to a guy named Steve. I think they may be all out as Trancemission, some others on this forum, and I called and swept them up. Acura did the install in the front when they took the bumper apart, and I did the rear.. took about 2 minutes.

Dude, I'm jealous. Those chrome emblems look sweet! I like how it shines too.
I'd like to smoke my tailights too, but for some reason, it seems to look best on NBP.

Nice! How much were the pair of emblems? Also, the off-shade grey on the grill...is that the same gray that is off-shade on the a-spec front lip?

Sushi96720 - I'm not aware of shops that will provide the black chrome emblems. I purchased mine from Weir Canyon Acura.

Aznbo187 - The emblems were $150 for the front and back "A," the "TL," and "ACURA."

Jumpman 45 - So sorry, I forgot to send you those. Please PM me with your address again.

Laxplaya11385 - I got everything painted at David McDavid Acura of Plano, TX. They used NBP on the front and back. As far as the gray area goes, it has not been altered at all. I chose to leave that gray to match the bottom of the A-Spec Lip.

I can't wait to get some black rims!!!

Thanks Iceman23

So Iceman23 bought ALL of the remaining black chrome kits from Weir Canyon Acura........ Thanks dewd!

I did get the contact info for the guy that did the emblems. Full kit will run about $120 to do the black chrome, plus you will need to send the emblems to him. If anyone is interested, let me know and I will provide the info.

I'm sorry man, but I think they are all out of the emblems. I'm pretty sure Ethan and I got the last of the sets they had there.

There was another thread some time ago about getting the black emblems/chrome black. It didnt take off although a lot of information was put out as to who you needed to call/prices, etc.

Actually...I was the guy who snapped up the last set from Weir Canyon Acura.....and you had to be in on that deal EARLY to get in on what WAS available cause they were "old inventory" they wanted to get rid of. Trancemission got his from another source entirely I believe...I think another member here on the site sourced his for him and sent them to him.

I just cut the Rockblocker film to cover the yellow area, that's all.
