So I'm in Riverside. Did you order your kit painted, or have it done locally? I am looking for someone to do my WDP. Dale Starbuck is my best shot for paint matching, $750 to do it.

Let me know if you found someone to do the paint.

The shop I used cost me $575, but took forever, they said it is a bitch to paint, but finally got. Talked to the guy who hooked me up with the paint shop and said they are chaging aobut $800 for the paint now

Looks nice!! Just curious, why did you decide to get the kit painted instead of having it ordered painted already? I thought the NBP always matched up good with the RJ kit, no?

Also, is that the background you have on your nav screen?

I could be wrong, but I believe there were some difficulties with shipping the RJ kit painted because of scratching/rubbing against the paint in transit. Which again, i could be wrong, but i think the customer has to have the kit painted himself after it arrives, which isn't a bad idea.

you should PM rondog to get the scoop

Holy Shnikeys!!! I spoke with one of the industry's most reknowned custom painters, and he's telling me $675-$750. $800 is unbelievable. Are they prepping and primering the kit also, or are they expecting it that way? I assume from the pictures that you bolted it on, yeah?

Let me know. I appreciate it.

Jumpman45 - didn't want to take the chance with a repaint on the kit. And, Yes that is the RonJon wallpaper on the Navi.

streese - yes direct bolt on. I need to refit the rear and put in the vents after I paint them black.
