Couple questions,
How are you powering the PS2?
What did you use for the sound, Blitzsafe or UsaSpec?
How did you hook that ^up to the PS2?

Please help because I want to do this, but Im hesitant to tear apart my car.

where did you mount the dvd player, and where did you get the switch?

 

Playstation is used for DVD's, and the switch was made by DCC. He is no longer making these.

Mods should probably move this to the Audio/Video forum

 

the ps2 is powered by a power inverter which i hard wired to the cigarette lighter and for sound im using the pie x3 therefor i have more inputs and have more options for the near future if i wanna add anything else like my ipod and such.. sound quality is excellent on it no static nada.. as for hooking it up i ran the sound rca on the ps2 to the pie x3 and extended the video rca to the back to the navi converter unit.. i have pics of my interior tore up.. but it was pretty simple..

 

you do know there is a patch to get rid of the AD initials that are on the screen.

Please explain the button "dcc", What does it do ? Whats the navi conversion part ? What did you change except the splash screen ?

the button helps switch from navi to dvd or whatever the video source is.. u dont have to use the dcc button u can just use a regular toggle switch.. and the navi conversion part is where i convert my navi to play dvd on the navi screen.. and other then the splash screen i disabled the ok button.. and added a few features to the navi that didnt come with the car for example the trip computer program that was only on the tsx was added.. and more..
