I finally put the new manifold, valve covers and throttle body in. I had to add a 30 degree bend for my 4" intake to get it all to fit, fits a lot better now as well.
Did a valve adjustment while I was in there too, all 24 valves were loose and I found a few ripped seals in my rear valve cover that was letting oil get onto my coil packs, cleaned them up and have new seals in the black valve covers. Re-torqued all the spark plugs as well.
I managed to pull the original alternator cable out of the OEM harness as well and removed the connector from the cable where it was bolted to the fuse block. Already have it attached to a 4AWG monster fleks cable that I'll be using eventually with an aftermarket amp connected to where the old alternator cable was.
High temp paint on the intake?!? Pretty nice, I've gotten away from colors in the bay, but nicely done!
The intake tube is the airaid 4" build your own kit, throttle body is duplicolor engine enamel and the valve covers, manifold and top plate are all powder coated.
Finally went about fixing the front trim on my carbon fiber hood today.
I went about doing it today, used some gflex epoxy dyed black.
Water was getting inside of it, and it had this nasty grey look from whatever stuff was used to hold that front trim piece on.
Water-tight seal now, I injected some epoxy down inside of it and ensured that there was no water in it before I started, had to tape the whole thing off and cover my bumper with a protective covering for any runs that came down.
Here's a before and after, the before is from when the hood was brand new, it looked a lot worse before I put the epoxy in it a lot more of the grey stuff had been removed.
The grey was visible all of the way around it and sort of threw everything off.

After:
Looks like the above part got damaged somehow, somewhere.
The above spot could use a little more epoxy, but that'll have to wait for another day once this stuff hardens completely. It's already reached a good initial cure here though but needs about a week to fully cure.
I'm happy with the results, I may go over the ends of it one more time once this stuff is fully cured just to even them up some more. So much of the grey stuff was gone that the epoxy kept filling into it. That and running down since I used it in a syrup consistency so it would run down inside of the trim and help hold it on.
really happy with the way the entire top of the trim piece came out
DIY camber adjustment today, this thing is awesome.
The digital level gauge is accurate to +/- 0.2 degrees and I can zero the whole setup on the ground next to the wheel before mounting it to the wheel.
The way I adjusted it is by zeroing the gauge on the ground, attaching it to the wheel and measuring the camber as it sat. I did this for all 4 corners.
Then I put the car on jack stands and did the same thing. Afterwards I adjusted the front driver's side to match the camber of the front passenger's side with it drooping. Then I put the car back on the ground and measured again.
I was off by 0.2 degrees from where my front passenger's side wheel was on my first adjustment, since it was so close I decided to leave it alone.
Took it to an alignment shop and had them adjust just the toe and the camber on all 4 corners was right around where I had measured it on their print-out afterwards. My rear passenger was 0.2 degrees less camber than my rear driver's side and my front was just as I had measured and set it relative to the passenger's side.
This thing is pretty cool, no more paying a shop to adjust the camber .. just the toe now
Bought it on amazon for like $200, it'll pay for itself after a few alignments. Had I spent more time with it and dialed them all in to match it would've been perfect. I didn't feel like spending all day playing with it though since it's close enough.
Some parting photos of the TL as I get ready to sell it.
Cleaned it up thoroughly, after some major work removing all of the performance parts from the car. The only performance part left on it is a set of P2R ported and polished lower runners, which will go with the car, I didn't have a stock set to replace them with.
Went from the 4" UBI intake, to a poor man's CAI with a stock filter. I used some of the 4" UBI tubing and a coupler to route a tube down below the headlights where a CAI would normally go since I only bought the airbox and filter from another member in the blackmarket.
Brand new engine bay covers and I replaced the cowl as well, though that was bought on ebay and thoroughly cleaned and then hit with Mother's Back to Black stuff so it looks new. I also got the front one to fit with the carbon hood, looks perfect IMHO, even got the aero catch latches to go right through it in the perfect spot
Car is looking in great shape now, I'll have to get some better pictures later, new set of wheels as well a set of Konig Integrams in 18x9 +35 offset.
Few more parts coming in before I sell it, I'm replacing the HFL with a brand new one and installing a relay harness to turn the DRLs into DRLs, since it's an '05 with 07-08 headlights on it.
Also going to drive it around while I have the accord in the garage, I have an underspoiler kit and a bunch of exterior LEDs to install on it so I'll have the TL for a few months yet.
Can really see the NBP paint on the grille in a few of these photos, perfect fit on it now I had plenty of time to work on it in the garage while I'm driving around my accord.
