My TL type shiny
Sup guys, had my TL-S for 3 years now. It has been stock most of the time but this year I decided to pimp it out.
A little info about me... I always liked the stock TL-S look so when I decided to pimp it out but keep it somewhat stock looking. I always thought the TL was a sharp looking car and always wanted one.
The first time I saw a TL-S drive by me, it drove by me real slow and all I could think to myself was WTF... I WANT THAT.
Anyways heres some pics, starting from when I had it first to the first, my one and only car accident I have been into, and then finally the summer mode pics

It was ink black at first, now its a candy color. I think its called stardust I dont remember to be honest. Rims/front brembos were powdercoated so its a super high quality paint job =)

ASM FTW! I like the rims. They're different. Wouldn't do it to mine but to each their own. You should definitely look into buying the swift plate for your front license plate.

thanks guys, brembos were $225 to get painted (does not come with acura logo, brembos will be rebuilt for this price).
my wheels will look glossy black to anybody who is not standing 2 feet from it. if you stand closer than 2 feet from my rims you will notice the candy color. if you are lucky and it is sunny out, you will see the rainbow flakes. otherwise i'd have to shine a flashlight onto my rims for you to see the rainbow flakes.

Wow, look at those wheels-I'm not sure if I'm feeling that, but......

^I agree, to a point. I mean if you were to take a shot like that of NBP, it'd look crazy blue. So...really I'm sure the wheels are black with a bit of shine from a usual distance.
I don't know about rebuilding the calipers if it wasn't truly needed though. I do believe Brembo says to paint them not powder them for that specific purpose. Some would even argue that a good true high temp paint will withstand the heat better then powder...
Anyways, looks good man!

I'm right there with ya on the look of the TL-S. I've had my TL base for about 6 months now and I really regret not waiting and getting a TL-S. Saving up some money to trade up to it ^^.
I love that last picture you posted. Amazing car.

and yes the gloss black looks awesome thx
saw many supras, sc300s, 240sx's, 300zx's that day. none of them were stock.
i remember talking to the owner of a 240sx who told me was pushing 700 to the wheels. and that he had a switch in his car to turn it from beast mode to daily driver mode

here is a pic of me next to a 2005 NSX. The NSX is dropped and has the F1 GT 5.1 exhaust.

I still say those are wild wheels. Interesting Brembo colors too!
