Hey fellas! Sorry I've been super busy and haven't been able to get on anymore but now I'm back.
The TL is getting fixed and I'm fixing that lip issue. Also I'm removing the resonator. Hopefully it'll sound a little bit deeper.
Here's a few updated pictures with my friends FB6
Thanks for the follow guys! I'll update ASAP when I get my car back!

Also anyone have the front Type-S apec lip they're trying to get rid of? I want to get one! or some coilovers. I need MOAR LOW

Hey guys, I've been busy with school and not much has changed on my car. I just got yellow tint for the fogs but its been snowing pretty heavily here in Kansas so I'm too lazy to do anything. Here's the most recent picture for you guys. I love my UA and wouldn't trade it for the world.

Could anyone link me to a page where it would tell me how to take the trim/grill off my bumper, where the fog is at. I just want to wrap the fog tomorrow with yellow tint and I think it should be easier if i remove all of that to get to the fog itself.
Also if i remove the shield in the fog, would that cause any problems? i feel like that shield reduces too much light.

Thanks for the help guys

Hey guys, about to start doing more stuff to my car now that I have more free time.
I've got a couple of questions if anyone could answer them for me.
Where can I pick up a set of OEM visors for a decent price and also where could I get type s rear side markers. I'm hoping to also save up for a coilover set.
Also if someone could tell me how to get the trim off the cubby inside the car would be great. Trying to do carbon fiber trim. Thanks a bunch

OEM Visors:

You can get them from Bruce or Tim...Bruce is a vendor on the forum and Tim is also a vendor and works for OEM Acura Parts....you can get Tim's contact details from my signature (link)...To contact Bruce, send him a PM...I think his screen name is ACKTL05

Here is the video on how to take the trim out:

Long time guys!

Geez, I haven't been on here for awhile.
Lots have changed for those who are still interested.

From my last post, I was a newbie. Things are different now. I just graduated and heading to college here in about two weeks.

So far with this build, aside from trying to keep it clean, in the past few months, I have
  • Slammed it (My taste)
  • Type S conversion (aesthetics)
Here's some pictures! Enjoy, I know I have

Sorry for such a dull, boring build thread. I hardly get on here. Follow my instagram if you guys have one! I do follow quite a few TL enthusiast on there. @illntakashi

Also guys, my srs light is still on from a front end collision. I replaced the driver airbag and sent the SRS module into a company to reset it. The light on the cluster is still on, what else am I suppose to replace? Thanks for ANY info!

I like the taillights...but that's just too damn low to not be on bags.

I couldn't imagine driving around Chicagoland like that. No only for the road condition, but also for the multitude of places you wouldn't even have a chance of getting into due to the angle of the driveway to the street.

She sits pretty and it's awesome. My light set up on my fogs are just the OEM fogs with 3k tint and 3k tinted bulbs. Pretty yellow if you ask me. lol

Most of the driveways here don't require much, just a bit of an angle then you're up. Some do require planks though

Bulbs are just some really cheap ebay pair, they were like 9 bucks. Tinted yellow. Then I also wrapped the fog glass with yellow tint and both in combination with each other produced a nice gold yellow.

Maaaaad JDM YO!

Ending the season!

What's up guys! Winter's coming up and I've been quite busy.
Here's the car as it sits, not much new. I'm planning to get some rims this spring, the aspec side skirts.
Also trying to get the 08 Sti Lip and a roof spoiler. Do you guys have any suggestions for mods?! Also wanna do the trim inside my car.

Hey guys, shoot, I keep forgetting to log onto here.
Been spending time on Facebook quite a bit on the Acura TL 3rd Generation group.

I've got quite a few questions for those who will look at this post,

For those who's wrapped their trim interior, how did you wrap the cubbies in the center console and the aluminum pieces where the vents are?

What do you use to clean your car? Interior and exterior!
How do you keep it smelling good?

How do you wax and keep the exterior clean?

Thanks in advance guys!

1. Interior-300 Aerospace, Exterior-Griot's Garage products

2. Hands down-Zaino leather products!

3. I use a Porter Cable on the exterior. The Griot's Garage products are excellent. I also use Pinnacle wax.
