My new 2007 TL Type-S

Hey all, new to the site and new to Acuras.
I had a 2000 Honda Prelude before i bought my TL about a week ago.

I bought the TL with 120000 miles on it which i was concerned with at first but the condition of the outside and inside let me know the previous owner took care of business.

Within this week of having the car ive gotten so many compliments from co-workers and even complete strangers.

I do have plans for her as far as modding goes, so i will keep you updated on that and i do look forward to advice.

Here are some pics ive taken:

Congrats on the TLS bro welcome to the club, I too have an ASM 07 TLS.

Love it to death, best sports sedan for the money IMO.

Nice! I love that red. It looks so clean that I almost wish you would leave it as is. Congrats on the purchase! You made a good choice.

I think I just let some people around me get in my head...I know myself that the miles doesn't mean anything especially since the Car Fax was very good.

YESS very clean indeed I'm taking literally there's one small small scratch by the gas door. I guess a couple of scratches on the front bumper from everyday driving but that's it. Cleanest cAr I've owned.

Picked it up for 12.5

I was able to talk down a couple hundred because of the "check gas cap" light keeps coming on which I'm guess is a evap leak problem.

It was def a steal especially since kbb was putting it at 13.6 in its condition. Like I said though the gas cap problem is going to cost be a few hundred.

Anyone have some insight or experience with this problem?

gas cap isn't anything big deal, it's a $90 part and 10 mins of your time with a 10 mm socket and ratchet. I did mine already, when I was living in CT its not as bad but once I move to Houston it pop up like crazy so I went and take care of it.

here is a pic back in CT.

Awesome man I love this color so much, im glad I got it.

Little update..

I started hearing a hissing, rubbing sound from my back right tire. I looked but couldn't really see anything but there's defilently a problem back there so I brought it back to the place I bought the car to have them check it out and look at it. I'm hoping its not anything too serious but the noise it was making kind of sounded kind of bad.

Anyways it gives me a chance to drive my girls car.. a 2013 ILX which is a nice car but its not my TL
