I think SSM and the clean exhaust tips go together.
I think I should do a DIY LOL
"How to clean and remove all the black on your exhaust tips".
lmao it could be the next "debadging" type of mod.
Instead of removing the badges off the trunk, we're removing the black "paint" off the exhaust tips heheh

Not too difficult. High temp black spray paint (I'm even in the process of obtaining the exact paint from Honda's parts manufacturer) plus some sort of covering on the back of the car to block overspray. Leave only the tips uncovered. Voila.
The black paint is there to disguise the constant soot build up, I believe...but here's my 'How to': Use BKF and #0000 steel wool, and scrub until your damn arm falls off. It really is a miracle product...

I believe the black paint is to disguise the build-up also.
That means' I'm going to have to BKF my tips every so often now =(
You used steel wool?
FML. I used a rag...

Yikes, that must have been awful. From now on definitely consider using a very very fine grade steel wool (#0000) on tough soot build up. Use a nice APC like P21S TAW or Chemical Guys Grime Reaper first to break down the grime. Polish afterwards with a good metal polish (I like Optimum Metal Polish, or even OTC options like Blue Magic or Eagle One Never Dull)
