My Little Photoshoot

Hey how's everyone doing?

Just took a lot of pics of my Acura TL.

Drove down to Tim's (you know who he is LOL) house last weekend and installed the A-Spec lip kit while it was rainy out =P

Before:

Also cleaned the exhuast tips using Bar Keeper's Friend and hours of scrubbing.

At first I thought I was only gonna clean the "lip" and outside, but I never knew you can clean the inside which took HOURS (still not perfect in corners)!

I have a big blister on my middle finger and peeling skin now =(

I guess it was worth it, you tell me LOL

To people with dirty exhaust tips: Clean the inside too! It looks sooo much better!

Getting the 2 dents fixed eventually on the trunk lid (bought it with them) =P

NOTE: These pics are un-edited, taken after a car wash with my point-and-shoot at my favourite time of day to catch the reflection.

I need to take pictures of my car somewhere nicer than my driveway LOL

Thanks =)

Maybe the A-Spec suspension in the future, because some roads aren't that good and I'm worried about scraping.

You're totally right!

After we finished the install, Tim and I were discussing how much different the car looks =P

Congrats on the A-Spec kit! It's amazing how much it transforms the whole look of the car.

Those pictures were taken with a regular P&S? They turned out great!

The A-Spec lip kit came to $779 USD shipped to Tim's door.
Tim is a well respected vendor here at Acurazine.
He has an amazing reputation for customer service.

Install took about 3 hours.

Could have been much faster if it wasn't rainy out.

The outside of the tips clean easily in minutes.
The inside took me hours =(

Nah, I searched and searched for it in Canada until I found it on the Home Hardware site, so I went to my local Home Hardware and they had it for $2.99!

Want to know why it took so long to clean the insides? I know, because I made the exact same mistake - the insides are PAINTED BLACK - we both scrubbed PAINT off. Imagine scrubbing as long as you did, but x2 because of my Type-S exhaust

I was just scrubbing the outside part, but accidently scrubbed the inside.

This meant I had to do the whole exhaust tip or else it would look funny with one "clean" spot.

The amount of time was well worth the result.

They look better with the paint off anyway?

I don't think it looks bad at all. But I'm painting the insides so I can be back to stock again.
