I always loved the look of the RonJon nose. Now I know what it looks like on a Silver Type S. For the record, if I ever did that with my Type S, I'd put the fogs back in-I think the fogs are hot. I think they make the car look much better.

I'd have to concur 100% on that. I think it cheapens the look of the car in a major way to have removed the bumper and fogs. Sorry, just my opinion, I would have had the holes filled and had the body work done and put some money into the apsec for it. I have heard it can be had for relatively cheaply lately.

Hummmm. I think the OEM Type S bumper looks MUCH better than that thing. Makes the car look like an old TL now with some sort of kit on it. That mesh stuff looks cheap to. I guess overall I dont like it lol.

Really? I couldn't tell from the rest of your post It's all good some like it some don't. My girl likes the new bumper and that's all that matters. I just wanted to post up a few pics for those who may be interested in seeing more pics of a RJ bumper.

Wow...talk about someone taking criticism well. Good job. After looking at it a second time, I have to say it doesn't look as bad as I first thought. I guess I'm just a sucker for type s's with the aspec.

The fbird with the chrome wheels looks very nice too...always been more of a blue oval fan but that car looks great.

Yeah she didn't have the bumper when you guys picked the tires up. The stock type s bumper was in pretty bad condition from the previous owner screwing multiple screws into the license plate bracket. Even after taking the plate off and thinking about filling in all the holes the bumper had major waves in it from the all the screws pulling on various spots.

Change of plan in wheels and next mods. 19" Work VS-XX are being ordered but we won't be seeing them for 2-3 months. We are also doing the A-Spec side skirts and A-Spec rear.

By the way I pulled the bumper off today and mounted the fogs up. By the way is there any replacement fog bulbs without going HID that can be used to make the color output of the fogs to match the headlights a little better, something a little more "white/clear" than yellowish if that makes any sense .

Whats with the cheap mesh you put in there? RonJon provides a pretty durable grill mesh inserts already cut to fit those holes.

Also, not too sure how I feel about the fogs sitting behind the mesh.

Didn't receive any mesh with the kit. I asked RJ about it and they said I could order some from mcmastercarr.com. I thought it came with the stuff with circles in it but we didn't get any. The shop that did the paint work had this stuff and installed it for now. It's the same stainless steel mesh that is used on the Z06 ducts.

looks good man, get some "Nokya Arctic White Pro Halogen 7000k H8" bulbs. for the fogs they are the best match IMHO for the HID headlights, without going HID
