3M tape. Then plexi glass over the boards. I left the boards bare. I ran led bulbs like this for 3 months because I broke the housings. To have them fit in the housing you will need a 6 LED board, a 12 LED board MIGHT fit.

I had no housings so I used a 15 LED board. Cost me $36.

Nope. No problems. Water does not get to them anyways.

Wow bright. The cops and red light cameras will be able to get a super clear look at your plates at night now LOL.

You can't really see anything in the daytime with the license plate LEDs despite how bright they are at night.

Bright as fuck.

Off topic, I notice you have both 2008 5-series and a TL.

Obviously the BMW is more luxurious and true 'luxury' but I want to get your actual words about it.

How do they compare when it comes to performance, comfort, interior space, interior material quality, and everything else? I always wanted a 5-series.

Which one do you like better and why?

Sorry but that's overkill. Simple small wedge LEDs do the job just fine.

As long as you're happy

i agree, it looks a little weird lighting up the ground behind you so brightly and it doesnt look "clean" to me. but if you like it then that's awesome and definitely you did a good job on them.

my new led strip mod

so after spending about 2 hours in the garage, i was finally able to complete the led strip project for the license plate....i think it's brighter than any bulbs out there and the strip cost me less than $5....not a bad mod i think

Should've spent that 2 hours cleaning your garage. JK....but I still don't get why people want super bright license plate lights. I'd rather spend the time and money on bulbs that light up the road better, not my plates.
