My baby has a new baby
Hey guys, my 2008 Acura TL Type S 6 speed manual just got a new garage buddy. My 3 realistic dream cars since I was 12 or 13 has been the manual type S, lexus isf, and a bmw m3. I am fortunate enough to be able to own the Acura and the Lexus ISF. Don't get me wrong, the type s is a great car and I still love mine, but the ISF is in a completely different class.

Good for you man! Great looking cars , i hate to say it but when i do retire the TL i think Lexus is next. Unless Acura changes their game, but i don't see that happening any time soon

Love the IS and GS! And F-Sport is icing on the cake. Only problem with the IS is it's tiny! Forget kids and car seats in that sucker (which may not apply to you anyways). That's why it'd be the GS-F for me if/when I eventually upgrade.

I drove an ISF awhile back and like it, although the 8 spd AT some time getting confuse espcially when you slow down for a red light (you are still moving) then the light go green you apply the a little gas then the gear box doesn't know which gear to choose between 3rd and 4th then all the sudden bam it slam into 3rd gear makes the car jerks, this was in sport mode BTW. The ISF I drove had 41k miles on the clock.

Clublexus is a good place to go, but Acurazine is where is at if you want some real knowledge. There is a lot more guys who know a ton about the type s on here than the isf on clublexus. But still a great place to go.
Kind of. I sold the type s to my younger brother so that I can keep an eye on it
Thanks steven.

Thanks buddy.
Yes sir! She's pretty.
Man it pulls so hard at 4k RPMS. Can't wait to get headers, exhaust, and intake.

IBF steven said "use multi quote button" lol. The Lexus has that sweet spot around 4.5k RPM that where it started to take off.

It's really easy! When you see posts you want to reply to, just click on the middle icon in the lower right hand corner. And, on the last one you want to reply to, click the regular "Reply" button.
Then, you just write in the space under each [/QUOTE] button and hit Submit Reply.
