Nice progress so far for only having the car for 1 month! Love the black roof. Start working on some engine mods!

There's not alot you can to the engine performance wise, I think intake, turbo charge or super charge is as far as you can go. You can also invest in a catback. But asthetic wise, the sky is the limit. Nice WDP! Keep it up.

You have a very good start. As you said, get a drop, it will really look nice. I kinda dig the red tails and the normal headlights, but if you don't, then get them cleared and change to type s tails and side markers.

town i live in is wolcott, about 5 min from waterbury.. i asked a audio store down the street from my job (terryville) and he said $250 and jo-di's sound center in bristol and he said $200.. they have to cut around the hole to make the HID fit because they don't make that specific bulb size in HID's

As far as engine...maybe I should have said performance...

Pre Cat Deletes, CAI, MDX Spacer, J-pipe, Cat Back system, UR Pulley and i'm sure there are a few other little things you can do. After you drop it, you're exterior is going to look great.

i have the type s side markers already on.. the only thing i don't like about the red tails is they sorta look outta place car the car is almost all black and white so i was thinking on getting the type s tails/headlights

FYI---HID bulbs in size H3 fit with no cutting but you will need a dab or two of epoxy to hold them in. May be a better solution than cutting for some folks, as it is reversible.

The first set that I ever did came out like garbage because the driver's side kept getting condensation in it. I have done 2 since and have had NO problems at all.

I do 20 minutes no preheat at 275. The headlights then come undone so easily. Just have to lift a few clips to make that happen. When I paint, I do 5 coats of black with 15 minutes between each coat. To put the headlights back together, I put the bottom clips in place and use my hands to squeeze the headlight closed as much as I can. I then put it back into the headlight for another 20 minutes at 275. After it comes out, I use clamps to bring the two pieces together. I let it sit for about 30 minutes while I put the other headlight back together.

I got my clamps from Home Depot for about $0.75 a piece.

From doing this, I have learned that if you do it when it rains, then you will have condensation. You need to allow 24 hours for the glue to completely cure. Also you don't have to use extra silicon. There is enough glue on the headlight for it to completely close up. Silicon draws moisture to an object.

I have used this method twice with success. I learned from my first mistake. Hopefully all of this info isn't confusing and helps. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Hey there Mr Connecticut

Ride is looking good. I live not too far from you in Naugatuck. I am thinking about doing coil overs and a few years back met the owner of Excelerate in Branford. He really knows his stuff, so if your looking for a place to mod the TL give them a call. I will be stopping by their place soon for the coil overs and intake..
