The Modified TL Gallery
#242
Thanks, boomer. I got the set from discounttiredirect.com. I don't remember exactly how much I paid, but somewhere from $1800 to $1900. Mounted and balanced, all I had to do was put them on the car. Regarding the A-Spec drop, it's hardly noticeable. I'd say no more than half-inch.

Most of these mods I see are stupid.. And because I'm reading this thread, I hope I don't get ugly rims for my TL.. Most of you if not all, made poor choices trying to match the rims to the car..

yawn @ immature comments. You don't deserve a TL.

Looking for Rims
I just bought an 04 TL and love it. Unfortunetly it was in desert mist which I had little control over, but Im looking for a nice set of 19 or 20s and an appropriate tire size that wont rub with stock suspension or 0"-1" of lowering max if i decide i want to.
I searched the forum for a pic of my color for an Idea with no avail!

not exactly a TL, but similar color, same style wheels, but different spec. We have a perfect fit spec wheel for the TL.

PLEASE limit your pics to no more than 3.
Sounds like a limited number of pics, but we don't want to overload ourselves with extra photos that don't show anything more than 3 will do. Also, make sure the pictures work.
PLEASE do not post pics of stock set-ups.
We all know what the TL looks like when we buy them off the show room floor. Namely show pics from a side view to show body kits, suspension mods, spoilers, maybe a rear shot to show removed emblems, and again spoilers, and a front shot to show body kits and grills, maybe even with the hood open for those that have done modifications under the hood.
PLEASE post all information below your pics stating what mods have done.
Everyone is into different colored cars, and this will allow the curious to browse and see how the car would look in each of the various colors. I know plenty of us have similar modifications, but in different colors.
LAST BUT NO LEAST, let's keep this thread to NO CHATTER AT ALL, minimal if anything. It will be beneficial for those searching for what they want to see. If you like an individuals car and want to comment, or have a question, Private Message (PM) that individual.
Now, let's see some pictures of everyones MODIFIED TL. Take your time and post what looks best!

Finally pimped it out a lil'!
Hey TL fans... After a long absence while deployed to Afghanistan... I came back and was able to do some things to my Acura...
I added the INJEN BLACK CAI
EIBACH PRO KIT Lowering Springs (lowered it 1 1/2 inches)
Acura logos on seats
and HP Design R5 20" X 8.5 BLACK RIMS with CHROME LIP
with the NANKANG NS 225/35R wheels
I also had to go to Wheeladapters.com(SPACERS) to get the Rims to fit the front end because
I have the 6 SPEED M/T
Here goes the pictures... I still want to do more to it... But this is good for now..

So what was the problem with them? Did they fall apart or something? Or was it the handling? If it is the "tread life" I kinda figured they wouldnt last that long...
