^so, it looks like you're going to looking for a used? bumper?? check ebay...
new bumpers are about $250 from the dealership but it needs to be painted...add another ~$250 for paint.
so, if you are looking for a used bumper, go to junk yards fool. you dont need a laptop to visit junk yards

Today the TL scared me. So as I was getting out of the freeway I came to a stop at a light. It started idling all weird and dropping down it's Rpm's.. it started shaking at the same time as well. It keeps doing this while idling but besides that it drives fine? No codes either

Update: I guess she just wanted some rest cause I didn't touch her all of Sunday and Monday morning she drove perfectly fine. So thats that. And tomorrow my new bumper should be ready and installed oh, and one more thing....
FINALLY GOT THEM
Looks good, just lower it and you should change your grille back to stock or paint match it to your car so at least you can see the grille, with the black its kind of hard too.
Been a while but looks wise it's the same. I've had the glossy black roof vynil wrap sitting in the garage for about a month already but haven't had time to attempt to put it on. What I did do was straight pipe from the cat all the way back to the rear mufflers 2.5" and swapped out the oem mufflers to magnaflows And I must say it sounds pretty darn good
Bad news, the other day as I was getting out of the freeway my pedal felt a little weird like if it was shaking and as soon as I hit the street when I tried to gain speed again I heard a loud noise coming from the engine and my engine light started flashing. So I looked it up And said it was an engine misfire. So I was speculating and hoping it was just 1 cylinder that had gave out but I read the codes today with an obd reader and it turns out it's cylinder 1 and 6 that are misfiring fucking sucks but oh well. Could it be just that spark plugs were bad or does driving it too hard have something to do with it too?
You should be able to drive the car as hard as you want and it should work fine under those conditions. I would check/replace all spark plugs and torque them to spec.
the car is telling you something is wrong and points you to multiple misfires. while, it got you close to the problem, you need to troubleshoot to determine what the actual problem is.
to troubleshoot a misfire, check spark plugs. make sure they all still look good. next, make sure you torque them down properly.
after you do this, run the OBDII scanner to check to see if this fixed it.
if not, you move on to the coils. with the car on, you disconnect the coil harness one by one. if the engine note changes, when one coil is unplugged, that is your bad coil
if you didnt find any bad plugs or bad coils, and car is still misfiring, you move on to a leak down and compression test
So turns out 2 of my heads are toast. I have 2 options, should I fix the engine I have(don't know how much yet) or buy a used engine and swap it out(1.3k for the engine) I think he said it has 80-100k on it. Opinions are greatly appreciated since I have l mixed feelings about it.
I myself would probably replace the engine with the 80-100k mile one... Given it has less miles than yours, I'm assuming... Not that that means much on these... But keeping the engine original has its perks too... It all comes down to time and money...

Yeah sorry, I don't know the exact terms he told me or whatever but two cylinders or pistons idk. But yeah I wanted to keep my original engine too since it's only at like 134k. But he'd only charge me 500 for swapping out since I've went with him for my axles and timing belt/ water pump job.
Sounds like it is time for a compression test; if you can, please post the numbers when you get them from your mechanic. You never know, you might get lucky and only need a single head.
Horseshoez, if I can remember correctly one of them was running 80-90 and the other one was like stupid low. I think im going to pull the trigger on the other motor and see how it goes. He said it comes with a 6 month warranty so hopefully if it does show problems it'll show it in those 6 months.
