I've considered that same MDX. Comfortable, spacious and sharp edgy looks. But since I already have the truck it seems redundant for me but it is really nice and can be modded nicely
I've even thought about this one but the same logic applies for me. Actually I would still consider this one if I found a good one within my search criteria.

Bird is the Word
I've been looking at the 10-12 MDX w/ Tech recently. I drove by a gray MDX with blacked out grill and emblems and it really caught my attention. It would be nice to drive something like that for awhile and not worry about modding it.

Exactly. I'm SOOO ready to buy the car I want and then not touch it. Wheels not included.
Not sure about the ZDX though... That's a grandma car IMO.

Lots more tech but isn't near the looker that the previous years are. IMO

The biggest thing that's weighing on my mind is my bro in law asked me to car sit his 1998 Jeep Cherokee in (last I saw it) mint condition, indefinitely. In which case I'd have a vehicle that is rugged for home depot runs at my disposal and possibly ownership eventually.
Hmmm...
07-up are pretty damn affordable, for the MDX, damn. And the market was so flooded you can find whatever color and interior and trim you want!

I think the 2 brands which are doing very very well over the past couple years are Hyundai and Kia...their cars look good and cant beat their warranty...
Infiniti is an awesome brand too...what I love about them is they listen to their customers...the Q50 were launched with electronic steering and customer complained about lack of steering feel and feedback, with a few months, they started fitting the hydraulic steering from the G37 in the Q50....
I dont think Acura would ever do that, else beaks would not exist, NSX would have been released in 2013, and our broken/cracked dashes would have been replaced!
I would not buy a MB E350 if someone paid me...they are heavy and lack in power...I test drove one couple years back and hated it...they rode well and they look nice but it ends there...

Wassap AZ. Been so busy prepping some things for upcoming work travel. I haven't taken too many pics yet but here's a couple. I REALLY NEED TO CHANGE THE WHEELS ASAP.
Here is how i saw it when i walked into the dealer. I had spoken to the guy ahead of time and he had it in the showroom next to some other $150k cars.....it made for a very good impression.
Test drove it. Of course the interior is great. The quality and design are awesome. Really does ride very smooth and quiet but with good power....it does feel like your in your own little world in there. Decided to buy it because it i really didn't get excited about any other car in my price range like this one. The color combo "palladium silver" with black interior was exactly what i wanted. It was certified pre-owned so new tires, extra year of warranty (with unlimited miles). For an extra $40/month i decided to extend it even further thru 2019 (unlimited miles)....so no repair cost worries.
So here's a quick look at the interior...one of the best parts of the car. Technology includes (among others)....keyless entry/start (i finally know what the 4G guys have been enjoying)......driver assist (blind spot, lane change and some other thing that notices sleepy driving and scares the shit out of you so you wake up)......dvd watching while in park.....Navigation without having to press the annoying OK button every time you get in, woohoooo!!...rearview camera (although the aftermarket one on my truck has a better, wider view).....power rear shade.....ambient light in all of the side panels (really nice at night...i'll take a better pic sometime).......i think thats it.
Power seems decent, it can definitely move when you stomp it....of course no where near the supercharged TL though.
So here is it in my garage.
I can tell you the car in its current form is not nearly as sexy as it will be once i'm done with it. But then again neither was the TL initially. I dont plan on going as far (definitely not getting into heavy performance mods) but i can garantee you it will be hot once i'm finished (my track record will back that up). Here is roughly what it will look like in a couple weeks (internet pic) once i get the initial main mods done asap (wheels, tints). I'm gonna start with some 19 or 20 AMG wheels just to have a nice base....gym buddy has some for sale i might pick up next weekend. Down the road i might look for sportier aftermarket wheels to make it stand out more.
GOnna be busy with work this week so i probably wont be posting too much but next weekend i should be active again. Thanks

Congrats!
It's a very sharp car, even though I've never been a huge fan of the interior. Those AMG wheels will look fantastic on your ride! After that and tint, call it a day

I think the first mods will be AMG wheels, tints (probably 20% although I'm still tempted to do the real dark 5%), swap out of all the interior lights for LEDs, 6000k headlight bulbs.
After that I'll probably get some real nice badass wheels so I can go back and forth between 2 good sets. I got real spoiled with the A-Specs & Avant Garde wheels.
