Shoot...try finding an Imola Orange one...
THAT is the holy grail!
Although Laguna is definitely tough to find...I actually went to look at a local one...but for the condition it was in...it wasn't worth what the little ghetto dealership was trying to get. Glad I passed, honestly.

Man, what a friggen busy day today. Getting things ready for our BBQ tomorrow, putting patio furniture together, landscaping, took Stitch for her first dog training lesson, bought a grill, installed new LED reverse lights onto the S and washed it. I literally haven't stopped moving since 8am this morning.
But who cares about all that? Onto the pics!!

Specs are 17x9 Front with 215/40 and 18x9.5 Rear with 235/40. Offset is +45 all around.
Thanks brother! I occasionally find a nice place to shoot at here and there, but still always feel like it's a constant struggle to locate good places. I got lucky with this one since it's right down the street from where I work so I pass it everyday.

take a breath...Chip is spent.
Dude...that's part of the fun! Get your camera and the lens you feel like shooting with...then drive around and get creative...sometimes it's a color that catches your eye...a background...tree, building...lighting...then stop and go for it!

LOL J! Yeah I think that's the problem. Most of the time I don't carry my gear with me. Then when I take pics, I feel like I have to use every lens in my bag to give a little variety of DOF. I don't think any photos I have taken of the S were all with one lens. Plus I always try to find desolate spots to shoot so nobody is up my ass questioning what I'm doing. So that really puts a limit on places to shoot at.

In talks with Morgan/Meko, they mentioned that staggered setup does not work with the BRZ/FRS, the car handles like poo...how is it with the S?

Thanks Tyler! That photo is one of my favorite of the set too.
Thanks Steven! Glad you liked them.
So far I haven't had any issues at all with the double stagger setup. The car rides and handles extremely well still. I originally got the inspiration to do it from a setup I saw on wheel flip when I was looking at buying rims. He had the exact setup I do now and his car was 818hp, so I assume to hold that kind of power this type of setup isn't that bad for handling characteristics.
Here are a couple pics of his car for reference.
Unfortunately those marks aren't mine. The dust is though cause that garage wasn't the cleanest. I should have taken a pic of the huge pile of shit I saw in there that I almost stepped in.

Sweet updates.. on that note.. thread hijack.
This is what I'm talking about:
Xiaomi Yi Action Camera WiFi 16MP 1080P 60FPS - White
One of the several cams out there that are at par if not better than the gopro for less than $100.
Xiaomi's affordable Yi action camera versus the GoPro Hero
And now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

What's "Glass 10"? Says recommended to use it for "better experience".
I see it's somehow related to Sony? Dude...$86 on amazon right now...I might jump on that instead of fiddling with this stupid contour that died on me within 15 minutes on Friday.

Get the action cam, I was just referencing how I fucking hate gopro selling a product for such huge margins when other options existed and still exist as competition for much less $$.
If you decide to get the xiaomi, get the deal I posted. You need to add the case though. Check the options in the list to build your own package. You do need to interface it through iOS or Android to do on the fly changes.
Also it doesn't have infinite focus, it's set to 50cm from the factory. You can change this by popping the cover and adjusting the lens manually if you'd like infinite focus.

..and looks like that dude does track the car...well, as long as the original essence of the car is not lost (which is perfect handling quality), its all good

Yeah I think he just basically had a high horsepower street/show car. I never really asked if he tracked or dragged it, but my guess would probably be no. The front fenders added 20mm more of clearance so he ran spacers at first on the RPF1's then he sold them and got custom CCW wheels. He did have Mickey Thompson tires on which he said were really good for traction, but I still think his main use for it was just the street/show.
Also, I finally made that thread on S2Ki about my issue with Kraftwerks. Another member reached out to me today saying he broke that bolt like 4 times now, so I felt a little more compelled to finally bring the situation to light.
Here's the thread if anyone is interested, but it's basically the same stuff I have posted in here, but just all in one condensed post.

Not a fan of the unpainted fender look.

Don't be ricey.. you could shave more weight by going on a diet than swapping cf body pieces. Nothing worse than cf hood or fenders that don't fit exactly right and look like ass.
Besides.. 800 hp and he wants to make it lighter.. is nucking futs. Of course he's going to need to go staggered.. he's driving a freaking funny car.

Ah just read he used it for clearance.. still.
I tried to persuade gatr from getting a cf hood. He's a Floridian so you know how that went.

Thanks Maj, those pics of his car were just for reference as what I used to decide to do the double staggered look. I'd never do CF hood or panels on this car. The hood is already extremely light and it is reported that most CF hoods for this car are actually a tad heavier than the stock one.
I wish I could start over with the kit, but already have so much invested in it that I'll just ride it out. Should things become a problem down the line, I may have to switch setups. Because now that the car is boosted, I would find it very hard to go back to a straight N/A setup with it.

Lol, not that I think N/A is slow as balls, but if I had to de-tune the car back to it, it would just take some getting used to again.
Really? I knew you also contacted him about the wheels too, but I didn't know he posted a thread on here about them. I thought you just contacted him about them through wheelflip like I did.

How is the car running currently Chip?
Any issues with the kit? or has everything been resolved (and by resolved I dont mean by Kraftwerks, rather by the installer+tuner+you)

The car is looking amazing, sir! Glad everything was finally worked out. Did you ever get a response to the email you sent?
Also, all this action cam talk has peaked my interest. What's the best (reasonably priced - under $200) Sony action cam available?

Best no-nonsense action cam is the AS15 but it's discontinued. I think they sold as low as $79.. won't find those prices anymore. The AS100/V goes on sale periodically for as low as $100 to 150. If you need it now, best to look for a bundle deal. The AS20 is still available for around $150. I advise getting the AS100 over it though.
