Well..I don't have pictures yet... but... believe me... when i get my NBP/Ebony 04 TL A-Spec with Navi, tinted windows... i'll be happy to post them. My car is due in mid-june and that is a long enough wait for me!

19 x 8 lips are 2.5" up front and 3.25" rear.

 

that is watt i am looking for. a big fatt lip on rear. nice huh? got any more pics? thanks. Watt is your off-set? do you happen to know? And from the looks of it, they dont stick out the pass the fenders right? so no problem with any weight in the back or bumps?

 

Hey guys what offset would be right for 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9 ? Also , would the lips be deeper with the x 9 wheel ? My last question is ; if I found a wheel made by a diff. company but w/ the same specs as EFlecha s would I still get the same size lip ? PLease Help

Lowering maybe in the near future or hopefully done by June 26 (Driven to Perform doubt it) I've askd Dave at Garagefive and the he said the he can't get them quite yet.. so i hope in a few months later or so, he can get a hold of them.

what is the fascination w/ staggering a fwd car.... that makes no sense at all

 

How many inches are u planning to lower the car? I want to do the same but no one is carrying any coilovers just yet in Vancouver. I want to lower mine at least 2inches which will almost eliminate the gap of the wheel well.

 

Probably 1/2". I'm believe its already low enough, not planning to go any lower. I think if i went past maybe 1.5" the black air dam under the car would scrape, unless you remove it or something.

Currently i'm very close scraping the front lip when parking in my garage

 

Where did you buy your car and how much did you pay w/the bodykit? I managed only to get around $1500 off the sticker price including the kit. I heard if you buy one now, you can get around $2000 to $2500 off including the bodykit.

 

I got an NBP with the bodykit too....and I scrape the shit out of it almost everyday :'( You can see scrape marks all over that gray piece on mine And I'm sure it's completely ravaged underneath...I keep thinking the next hit's gonna take the entire front bumper off

I bought the car back in the beginning of Feb. I actually paid ful MSRP for the TL, but i got a higher trade. I also tried Richmond Acura because my parents know their head manager or something. His name is Henry, but they only gave me about $500 off the TL w/ Navi = $35,000 and with a trade in worth $22,000 (02 Toyota Sienna XLE Ltd)


So we decided to try Lougheed Acura to see if they can beat it. So we went down test drive and spent about 3 hours to do a deal. I paid full MSRP $44,000 w/ a trunk tray, with a trade in worth $26,000. So we decide to deal their. I wanted a SSM, but they said the waiting list is 1 and 1/2 month. They had a black one in the back.

 

Do you just have the kit, and no springs?

Ouch its pretty bad. I think its ok with the kit and no springs. But i would never go more than 1/2". I have to avoid the cement blocks in the parking stalls. Avoiding steep entrances entering malls/parking lots etc. I've only hit it about twice. And the piece is pretty uneven

 

That is pretty good you got an extra $4000 for your trade in at Lougheed. I guess it depends who the sale rep is. Hate to say it but there are way too many silver cars out there so I think you made a good choice going black on black!!

I just picked up the RPM2's and went with the 8" (love the fact there almost 5 lbs lighter than stock) and have to wait until next week before they arrive. I also picked up the Falken 512s which is why I had to order the 8" as Falken says you can't put the 235's on a 7.5 inch wheel. Once the wheels come in, I'm going to try the 245s to see how they look and see if they are going to rub once I get the Comptech springs installed. Hopefully Garage Five will get the ones I ordered by next week and I can get the springs installed before I have to decide between 235 and 245.

Are those 20% tints? They look too dark on a black TL.

 

car looks nice except for the fact that your tint guy is horrible.. the quarter window on the side looks like it was done by a drunk... take it back , tell him to finish the job

 

Which kit is this? From the dealer? I'm debating whether to get the front, rear and underside spoilers on my 2005 black TL. I've just joing this community forum, and am a little confused about the OEM kits, A-spec look, aftermarket like Ron Jons, etc.
How does the TL look without the ground effects?
