Looking for Pics of Our products

Hey folks,

We are trying to compile a better gallery of pictures for our site so other members can take a look at what we have to offer.

We are looking for pictures of clear bras installed and Colored Light Protection whether it is tail light, headlight or fog light kits.

If you wouldnt mind posting up your pics that would be great so others on the board can see what we have to offer. A lot of times people are wanting to see it on a particular color and combo so the more pictures the better.

Thanks for your time.

Thumbs up 20% tinted tail lights on 2004 TL SSM - install pics and aftermath

Ordered on Thursday and got the stuff on Saturday. A friend and I installed it. Took about an hour and 15 minutes to install (including smoke break ). I tried to take as many pics during the install and afterwards. Some I use flash, others I didn't. Hope these are enough. I must say, it turned out better than I thought.

The left tail light we started from the trunk to the side. This was a harder way of doing it, from what we experienced. Also, there was a bubble but from the instructions, it should go away in a couple of days. If not, I'll find a way to take care of it.

On the right tail light we started from the side to the trunk. We had an easier time doing it this way. It did result in more bubles, but it was an easier fix than the other side. Afterwards, no bubbles on the right side.

Here are the pics:

the film

soap and water

read the instructions wrong. non-adhesive means the tinted side that is not sticky

finally got it right

left side tinted, right side not tinted

a much needed smoke break

preparing the right tail light

both sides tinted

trunk up, tried to get rid of sun's glare

night shot, lights off, no flash

night shot, lights on, no flash

night shot, lights off, flash

night shot, lights on, flash

night shot, brake pressed, no flash

Man, thanks a lot for those pics and the work you put into it.

Sorry you had trouble with the install, but glad to see you were able to work it out and get them on there.

the third pic is the wrong way. make sure you clean the tail light first, then spray some water on it. then peel the some of the paper of to reveal the adhesive side. the wetter the tail light, the easier to remove if you want to move the tint around, but the longer it takes for it to set. hope that made sense. don't forget to wet the non adhesive part too when you use the plastic to wipe across it.

You do not need to wet the applique to install it. I did a dry install and have no problems.

that is prett funny, b/c 35% tint and darker are illegal in most states for the front windows. and the tint shops do them anyway.

BTW way are they illegal? they still reflect light from other cars headlights, and they are just as bright when on.

You are altering a DOT approved lens. Doesn't matter what you do to it, it is technicaly illegal because it is not DOT approved after the mod.

I like these more every time I see them, I just may have to get them for my AM.

EDIT: How difficult are they to remove?

most cops wont know anyway unless they know that the lens are suppose to be lighter.

Finally, an ABP with the tail light tints. Rear side markers also? Thanks and definitely post the pics when you get the chance. Have been sitting on this purchase for 2 months now for my ABP.

Yup, rear and front side markers, too. Headlights as well

Just got all the windows tinted today. 50% front and 20% rear. Looks great. I would have loved to put 20% on the front as well but in BC you're not supposed to have ANY tint at all on the front.

There will be pics when it's done.

You're not supposed to put any tint on the lights at all. But as long as you don't drive like an idiot, you're not likely to get pulled over for it. I'm going to use blue film on the headlights which won't be that noticeable at night when the lights are on.

Sorry, I don't mean to nag you but I haven't heard back from you yet. I'm quite eager to get going on installing the light covers but I wanted to do the whole thing at once. I still need the side markers, headlights and trunk sill protector.

Thanks.

What about the side markers up in front?

Is there a kit to smoke these out or do you use the rear side markers kit?

I bought this few months ago from rockblocker. I did my own installation and it was very easy. I also bought rear bumper top protection from rockblocker and it was easy installation (5-10 min.).

Give Rockblocker a chance. He seems very busy but from what I've seen, he will come through with good service. Just be patient.
