Cool Long awaited update teaser (interior shot!)

So since I got my TL back in august, I've done A LOT to the car.

Before anything is said about how I have deliberately copied someone else, the reason why I ended up wanting a TL was all thanks to a fellow named accurateIN who's TL got featured in hondatuning. When I saw his TL in that, I knew it was something I wanted to work towards, and seeing it again on canibeat... I was sold on it. I always wanted red recaros in my accord and seeing his infamous DC5 seats + takatas combo, I knew thats what I wanted too. So it took me a few months, and the only thing I'm left looking for is the remaining trim pieces to the black interior conversion.

I got the seats, brackets, harness bar, harnesses back in December, and spent the past two months working towards the black interior conversion. Anywho, plan to upload more soon, but I thought this shot came out dope so I'd thought I'd share

Also will throw this in, in case people expected a shot of the car haha. I'll take better ones once I wash it and am more prepared.

Back on topic. Op nice conversion. How long did it take you to fit everything in there. All you need now is a matching baby seat if you have kids hehe. Nice work though. MOAR PICS!!!

Looks good. I don't blame ya for mimicking Eric. Those shoots don't do any justice for how amazing Eric's car really looks in person.

Thanks everyone! A few answers to questions..

I have a brand spankin' new redlinegoods padded black armrest I need to install.

I'm just looking for the black center console trims and lower door panels.

Yes, Takata only comes in green :P

It was just a few weeks of trial and error to have everything without any warning lights, was pretty easy once you got the hang of it. I actually stripped the car a few times during the process so I feel like I know my car inside and out now.

Theres a lot of information in this thread about aftermarket seats.
https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-112/diy-racing-seats-765223/

Hopefully will get the whole conversion done next week and I'll have some finished pics

Thanks for the kind words man. Makes me feel good.

I'm looking forward to future developments with your TL. Your seats and harnesses look fresh. Mine are dirty and need a scrub down.

Decafe - They're mounted into the rear, over the harness bar. I actually kinda gave up on power. I am catless with intake and stiffer mounts, but I'm focusing more on wheels/aesthetics at the moment.

accuratein - thanks for chiming in

ebelp - I plan to do a few runs next month, but nothing major. It is still my DD and I plan to run fairly low so we'll see :P

I have a shot of the rear I'll post it up. I don't have seats in the rear so no, noone can sit back there haha. And I love it cause now my car isn't the involuntary carpool van.

In other notes, I did manage to finish my black armrest re-upholstery and I think I'm picking up a black glovebox this week. Hopefully this will see a sick interior soon enough
