Keep up the great work man, I usually love the Audi style DRL strips but I personally think it takes away from the general beauty of the the 3G headlight housing. The black chrome is beautiful though.
no, resistor is not needed on the driver side. ONLY passenger side is needed.
i might be using those audi style leds to light up with something else (alarm etc)...still thinking about it....

I am also trying to do this for my 2007 TL and wire the angel eyes to the DRL. Can you be more clear/specific on how you did it? What size resistor did you use and how did you wire the resistor in the passenger side socket? I have 4 halos total, 2 halos in each headlight, so I assume each headlight requires 2 resistors so I will need 2 resistors for the passenger side? also when you say leave it alone, the passenger side socket will not be used so it will not be attached to the headlight but rather be just dangling in the engine bay?

50w resistor would do. you'd only need one resistor like i mentioned earlier on the passenger side. yes, the passenger side socket will not be used other than the resistor connected.

i'm sure there should be enough power to light up 2 halos if you connect both together on one side.

My halos LED came with resistors built in. Would I still need resistors added to the passenger side socket as well?

Yes, because that resistors is meant for our TL, it's needed to "fool" our DRL module since they run in parallel. can't light them up without it.

oh ok thanks for clarifying things for me. I will use a 50w 6ohm resistor I have left over from the LED signal blinker fix.

I'm not sure if I can capture the exact output on camera, but they sure look AMAZing in person!! Maybe I can do a video tonight.

I also did my puddle lights, that's why it took me so long yesterday.

sorry guys, super busy with family in town. I can't do much more until they leave, which is about 2 weeks from now. Plus there is some minor imperfection I want to fix, might need to take them out again. I'll try to do a quick video soon though.

Here's my video:

Please don't mind my stuffy nose. Also the video couldn't capture the angel eyes in real life, but you can see them on pictures.

You're a talented guy, man.
A little too much going on for my taste, but extremely well orchestrated! Kick ass

The video is overexposed on all the lights. It's much better in person.

Oh, I don't doubt it at all...
then again, don't listen to me...I opted to do NO extra lighting/led mods when I've repeatedly done my 2 sets of heads.
