LED Grille lights

So I decided to go ahead and try a set of the Hella LEDayflex lights.
They are very well constructed, bright, and can be configured in any style you like. After some thought and toying around with ideas I finally decided to keep it simple and see how things turned out. I tried to play off the lines of the Aspec lip while not covering too much of the grille.
Seeing as I have the stock drl, I disconnected the plug and now use the led's as my drl's.

Reminds me of Kit.

Not sure if I like it or not yet. But it is different!

LEDs are getting played-out. Haven't seen those LEDs before though.

I'd mount them more towards the sides of the car, creating a more aggressive stance and visual appearance to the car, rather than accentuating the slimness of the car by mounting them close together.

I'm still not a huge fan of LEDs in general but DAMN you did an awesome job on the install.

I would have moved them to the outside of the grills rather than insides but install looks very good. I usually don't like the LEDs in the grills and what not but these looks good.

Not sure exactly what you're referring to? if you mean on the grille itself those are drops of water, I just washed the car.
Otherwise here is a closer look at the leds...

Thank you for the comments everyone.
I agree, the lights should be moved to the outer corners and that's more than likely what I'll end up doing next season. Sometimes you learn through trial and error and now that I see them on I have a much better idea of what to expect moving forward. I think 6 leds may be a bit overkill so I'll consider cutting them down to 3 or 5 at the most. I tried to play off the lines of Aspec lip when deciding on this install, maybe I can still do that but from the outer corner in.
As far as the lights are concerned, I've very pleased with the quality and output. They are very bright when looking at them head on, yet not overpowering from a slight angle.

ML, at the end of the day, YOU are the one that has go be happy with the LED's. It's your car-you drive it every day. That's the opinion that matters the most....
