KBP TL-S, Wheels painted black
I took on the task of refinishing my wheels myself after reading a few how to threads. All 4 wheels were curb rashed to hell and back from the previous owner. I def got sick of looking at them. I orginally wanted to respray them grey, but I got lazy in my repairs, and to cover most of the imperfections, black was the best route to go. Black, with blue metallic flake and alot of clear! I will get better pics of it soon.

Let me know what you think! All comments welcome. Oh and for some hellawtf, while I was refinishing the wheels, I tossed my 240sx wheels on it... 17x9 +15 and 17x10 +25... I actually didnt mind it if it was hella low.

the black doesnt look bad at all. looks nice with your tint. why do people keep commenting on your "new wheels"? guess your whole post was too much reading.

if the car had a few more black accents like the TL-S ASPEC kit or smoked turn signals, etc. it would blend in a whole lot better.
IMO if it's bothering you, just go to autozone and pick up a few cans of self etching primer and some gunmetal paint and clear and spend a few hrs. respraying them!

To be honest, black colour rims do not suit the colour of your car. You should've painted them silver or a light gunmetal like the stock colour. They actually look like four set of spares and will even look worse when it's dirty. It's still not too late while summer is around.

Darkness, the black wheels are OK. csmeance had a good suggestion. If you drop your car alittle, it will make a big difference. All your wheel options will look better.

i actually quite like the black. it would be great if you could get some hi-res shots of the blue flake and LOL at people who thought you seriously put the 240sx wheels on for good
