I actually am considering H&R Sport as well as the Tein H-Tech. I can't decide if the drop makes sense or not..I definitely DO NOT want the back to be dropped to lower than the front - this looks extremely awkward. Does anyone know if this is what happens if you put H-Techs on a Type S? The H&R sports look like a viable alternative since I know they definitely drop the front more.

I like the alien in the back seat. It's a good thing you strapped him in!

Nice, do you know if there are any meets going on up here? (hopefully in South/East bay?) I'm pretty new to AZ so I haven't heard of anything official yet. Post pictures of your tail lights to give me ideas!! I'm getting my A-Spec and some CF Vinyl through Bruce right now, maybe we'll give him some more business soon haha

First Project Ever! Red Brake Calipers
FIRST PROJECT!
Finally mustered up some time this weekend with a friend of mine to do my first real project on any car ever! (excluding relatively easy lighting / HID)
Rather straightforward - followed the DIY on AZ for red front calipers with a white emblem. Instead of the stock ACURA, I went with the Brembo logo - I think it came out pretty well if I do say so myself
Also got my front A-Spec in and CF Vinyl, but ran out of time. Hopefully will be able to get these on in the next couple weeks.

Kaiii, I looked all over to get the lugs anodized and no one could do it.
I just left them alone.....the set I have now were only about $30. They're a little chipped on the sides, but look good straight on.

Dang...might just get the set of 20 on ebay and paint the wheel locks with the caliper paint & clear coat
In other news, ended up ordering Nokya Hyper Yellows for fun since I had an amazon gift card. Also got some white LED license plate lights for the back and am currently in the process of ordering the BMWOEMSHOP roof spoiler from eBay that everyone seems to have. Hopefully will get everything done soon!

Small Update:
-Nokya Hyper Yellow 2500K Fog Lights
-Debadged except for the Type-S
-White LED License Plate Lights
Pending Projects (waiting for materials & my buddy to be free):
-A-Spec Front Kit
-Single Pot Rear Brake Caliper Covers
-CF Vinyl Grap Grille and Rear Spoiler
-M3 Style Roof Spoiler (Shipping now from TW!)
Nokya Hyper Yellow 2500K Fog Lights
I'm not really disappointed in these, but I did expect the light to be much more...yellow. The yellow light emitted from these is nice and soothing, but isn't "HYPER" in any way.
Night Shots:
Fog1_zpsfba45391.jpg?t=1378800816
Fog2_zpsa3611c9c.jpg?t=1378800821
Fog3_zps5e77b642.jpg?t=1378800828
Also Debadged and put some white LED's in the license plate (like a 5 minute job):
Only pictures I could take. Yes, my photography skills need work
Debadge_zpsd37570e4.jpg?t=1378800813
garage_zpscb25b016.jpg?t=1378800812
And that's it! Still waiting for some things to come in...will hopefully have another update soon. I keep looking at how nicely the front brakes turned out and can't wait to get the matching rear covers on

Updates
Couple of updates from last night / today.
Installed eBay roof spoiler from oembmwshop.
Placed a steering wheel TL-S garnish on the grill (copied Aaron / badazzTL-S's idea)
Put in the license plate hole covers (holy crap this was worth the $15 haha)
Roof Spoiler Installed:
Might be a little 'vertical' for my taste, but I still like it. Attached it on with some heavy duty 3M Extreme mounting tape so hopefully it doesn't go anywhere.
RoofSpoiler1_zps193a7521.jpg?t=1379144153
Roofspoiler2_zps0cb0908a.jpg?t=1379144156
Front TL-S Badging:
Got the idea from Aaron / badazzTL-S's thread. It's the same piece that's on the steering wheel - just used some of the same 3M mounting tape that I used for the spoiler. This makes it look like it's protruding out a bit, but I don't mind. Maybe I'll figure out another way to secure it later. I love how it looks though - reminds me of the S4's.
TLSBadge1_zpsae76967a.jpg?t=1379144164
TLSBadge2_zpscb4effa3.jpg?t=1379144167
Incredibly expensive bumper plugs installed:
Why these things cost like $15 continues to vex me. But, I caved and bought it. Fortunately, there really is a noticeable difference when the ugly holes are covered. Please disregard the nasty bugs in the picture.
BumperPlugs_zps02d16b1d.jpg?t=1379144124
Other than that, these fogs are starting to grow on me more, I guess. I ordered a replacement RH fog light housing since mine is cracked, and ordered some Lamin-X yellow film to go over them - hopefully this protects the fogs and gives it a richer yellow hue.

Kaiii those lic plate plugs are expensive from acura. Sometimes you gotta utilize your
resources and try your local auto store for those mundane parts. I found some similar
plugs from Orileys auto for 2 or 3$. Not the colour of the car, but I used the car touch
up paint. It came out really good. This just for future reference. BTW nice Type S

Brembos came out great man, nice work!
I hand't noticed the question about my springs, but the reason I got rid of them was twofold: I found a great deal on my Tein Street Advance on the Black Market, and I really didn't like the ride on the S Techs, I found it very jarring. Other people don't seem to think it is that bad, so maybe it was my springs, or maybe I was just looking for more comfort, not sure. I was actually researching/searching for Koni Yellows to put the S Techs on, instead of my stock shocks (although they only had 25K on them), and I realized the price of those plus the S Techs was going to be the same as full coilovers.

When I had mine done in 2010, it cost me 225.00 for everything besides windshield and no moleskin by another shop. I was told film that needed to be used was more expensive because it wouldn't interfere with navigation, film was Suntek carbon series. I didnt know bout moleskin till it was too late. Tint is scratched up. Im gonna get moleskin install myself and get car retinted. Alot of guys from TEAMREV have got their cars tinted from him, majority of them evo's but the work is good. Do it right the first time and have the moleskin installed with tint. I had California auto tint do my 2g years ago and that ran 300.00, thats pricey but was excellent work.

Congrats on your engagement!!
Car looks good
Question for you - does the body kit require you to remove the chrome strips near the fogs or did you do that on your own?

It's really great quality, weighted, and comes with different height adjustments so you have options. Would recommend it even for MT (though mine is an AT so my future wife can drive it haha)
Thx Steven

Haha yea, had to order them because I wasn't fast enough to get yours!
Was actually debating getting them and saving $$$ or going coils - decided that since I got a buddy who can help me out that labor cost would be $0 if a shock goes out, so here we go! Btw your rolling shots in the other thread are niiiiice.

Red Rear Caliper Covers
Goodbye window visors.
Hello matching red $10 covers from eBay. (The big ones stuck on the best, so yes Steven I ended up copying you)
Gonna go get this thing tinted soon, this week or next week hopefully

Probably CK Auto Image since it's within walking distance from my office. Open to suggestions for other places though. The brand they use is Johnson Window Films and I got quoted $250 for everything excluding windshield, NOT including moleskin which I'll probably have to do myself. Not really sure if this is a good deal or not.

Dude, you're almost there. Tint and a drop and you're golden.
