The RDX calipers are just covers, not really affecting the suspension at all. Its more for visual appearance. If your looking to black out your grill, try plasti dip. Easy, cheap and not permanent at all. If you dont like it, you just peel it off.

I'll look into the RDX covers. I'm okay with the painted calipers at the moment so I've got to prioritize where my moneys going right now I hate not having a job.. but I plasti dipped my rims and took it off and a friend of mine plasti'd the grill I just don't like how it looks up close. The flat look doesn't really appeal to me and I can't ever spray it right

Alright pretty big ish update I guess.. spring break has started off hectic and probably is going to continue to be. I'm doing simple mods when I can in between my other activities just trying to fit it in.. (no comments on that lol). First off Happy Easter everyone.. enjoy the pics

==Led Swap==
don't have too many pictures. I switched out the dome, map, vanity, door, trunk, license plate. Went to change my reverse bulbs and got the wrong size PIAA -_-

==Moleskin==
I took apart each door. Posted a thread some of you might have seen.. one of the screws on two doors wouldn't come out. Had some trouble. Eventually finished. For those interested I used this cheap polyester felt stuff.
JVCC FELT-06 Polyester Felt Tape (1mm thick felt): 3/4 in. x 75 ft. (Black) - Amazon.com JVCC FELT-06 Polyester Felt Tape (1mm thick felt): 3/4 in. x 75 ft. (Black) - Amazon.com
9$ for 75 feet of it. I used 3/4 inch

==Grill Vinyl==
next up i decided to vinyl parts of my grill.. seriously was a PITA I don't know if I'll ever vinyl again i hated it. Looks good from the front.. the part of the silver trim that is on the hood has wrinkles in the vinyl, but they're on the part that is underneath. I don't have a finished picture because.... pollen
Also had trouble getting the stuff off without removing the bumper.. eventually did it

I'll try to get some picture of the finished product of the vinyl and the other leds.. but heres a sneak peak of the rest of break
I also have a package coming in.. can't tell you what it is yet though!

Painted rims

Decided to paint my stock rims. Took a while.. even with the help of three friends. Guess I was just being overly cautious. Used a total of 1 can of Duplicolor Engine Enamel Primer, 1.5 cans of Duplicolor Wheel Paint Graphite, and 1 can Duplicolor Engine Enamel Gloss/clear coat. I read everywhere that prep work was key.. so that took most of the time. We sanded, primed around 3-5 coats, base 3-5, and a good 2 heavy coats of clear. Look pretty good in my opinion. heres some pics(Galaxy s3 quality)

thats a friend in there. I haven't shown up in any of my pictures yet lol AZ will never know what i look like

and also I got this in....

No actual picture of it open.. it's the magnaflow muffler for Stage 2. Once I get the funds to get it welded on I'll do it. Sitting in my room for now

Haven't posted in a while. Still gotta fix my passenger vanity light. Can't get the flippin cover off. I also need to fix the front bumper a tab is broken. Plan on doing that today. Just wanted to update I got Stage 2exhaust. I'll try to get a good quality video up.. Nice growl when it starts up. Not too loud but its a good tone

August 14th Update

8/14/13 Update

Haven't updated my thread in a while.. haven't done anything really. I've posted some threads because I contemplated selling my car (family has to figure out some car stuff) but now thats not an option. Messed up my hood trim taking off vinyl, so i stuck it back on. But you can tell the paint peeled under it.
Also posted this thread about my 1 year anniversary with Ace!Finally decided on the next mod.. Heres a sneak peek!

Haven't posted in a while. Going to college this next fall and don't know if the TL is gonna be mine depending on the financial situation of my family I'll probably have to buy a 3,000 car but it has definitely been a good run! Very privileged to have driven and modded it for the past year and 5 months and more to come.

Mod wise I haven't done anything recently. I haven't put on the lowering springs.. lol.. but my battery has been dying a lot and I found the problem. Unplugged my broken HFL module and bam the car starts up like new if I haven't driven it for a couple of days. Normally the battery would be dead or it would start very sluggishly

Do you owe on it? TL's are becoming cheaper and they may not give you much on a trade. But the TL engine seems to be pretty reliable.. So, it would be a good car to keep through school.

Sorry for the super late reply. Don't owe a single penny on it!

Status right now is that we are keeping the car. I'm moving on to college next year.. hopefully I will be able to buy it off my pops in the not too distant future. As of right now, just added a cleanly hidden wiring kit for my subs. I made the post about putting subs in for 200$
