Walkers update with his current mod. Paint looks sick.

 

Pretty sure Lipsuth (2g CL) and CG3 Project (6G Accord Coupe) have their cars painted this color. Really nice choice.

That is a hot color and the car will look great, but it kind of blows that someone else is rocking the color that LIPPSTUH made famous on AZine.

Not to be a wise ass but what on your car have you thought about out of the box. Right now only mods i see are all mods that every other forum member can do themselves. The point being is that this done all by himself and not by a shop. So its an appreciation that he does the hard work that most people will not touch, not the work that has already been done by other members.

I think the only time this color looks good is on the headlights. Looks REAL good. Seen it on my buddies RSX and it looks clean. Classy look.

lol yeah right, dropping in an sc into a car i'm trying to sell and getting new wheels is what i do on cars i want to try to sell.

 

Sorry i was thinking of a way for it say something with car modding but i never could finish it. But so true to life.

 

Java Black > NBP/Obsidian Black Pearl imo if you're going for luxury/VIP look.

Java Black is a sick color but it's going to lose a lot of its uniqueness if more and more people keep doing their Hondas that color... if I was Lippstuh or CG2PROJECT I'd be kind of heated.

If I ever do a repaint, I'm not going to disclose what the color is... people will have to eyeball it, haha.

 

Half the damn people on here make their cars look the same in stance, wheels or otherwise, paint was the next logical step.

People want to talk about being unique all day long, but it's all an exercise in imitation.

 

Well, I guess seeing your FS thread on V6 Performance back in the spring is what made me think that.

 

I guess I would have to see the whole car painted to know what I think about it. so far I don't really like it from those close ups. It looks brown and I hate brown color.

 

I had a Java Black Subie before I bought my TL and I loved the way it looked in the sun. Pretty cool to see it on a TL too. Great choice in color!

 

that might be the case on the TL side, but it's for sure not the case on the 2nd gen CL side.

 

I don't think its java black anymore as what "walker" told me.
it was started as java

black...... but has transformed into some sort of zerelic

custom pearl, which concists of two different red and gold

pearls to achieve this one of a kind pearly look.

 

How much does it cost to paint the whole car???

 

Can't really do much with the limited resource we have for the TL's.
