I wanted to do something different. 56k-NO!NO!

I'm a scenery type of guy. I'm always looking for ways to make my TL and the pictures it's in look interesting.
Over the weekend it rained nonstop. Now, rain is my favorite because I get a great feeling (try jus sitting in you're TL on a rainy day and I garauntee you'll fall asleep). I was sitting at home playing Tomb Raider Legend (good game BTW) and I thought I'd jus look out my window at the TL. When I looked out I saw the raindrops bounce off, and slide down the contours of My TL's body and I immediately thought, "Wow, that would make great pictures."
I quickly threw on some clothes and went out the door, hopped in the TL and went lookin for the perfect place to take pics. Unfortunately the rain let up by the time I found somewhere but I still managed to take some nice pics.
I wanted to do something other than the regular spotless, waxed to the max, shiney look. I wanted to see the TL looking something like this:

This is the my TL at home.

I found a parking lot, got out and took some pics.

I then told my gf that I wanted her to get in the car and floor it around the parkling lot as I took pics. As you can see I'm still an amature but I'm workin on it.
This is her pulling away.

She gets to the other end.

Floored it towards me. I don't think she actually put it to the floor though? It took some time for her to reach me.

I signaled her to stop when I realized I wasn't getting what I wanted. I'll post it when I get the perfect shots.
I decided I wanted other pics so we drove around again.
This is the result.

I ended up getting a little wet and cold after that so I figured that was enough. I really wasn't liking the quality I was getting anyway but I still liked the pictures.
Before we reached home we drove by the HONDA Heaquarters near our home (not sure it's a headquarters though, could be wrong ) and thought this shot would be something for you guys or those HONDA fans out there. ENJOY!

I hope you like the pics and I plan on doing other things like this. this chapter isn't over yet though, I plan on continuing when it rains again. I'm still waiting on that perfect pic.

Lose the silver trim and replace with an A-SPEC badge or something.

Was thinking of doing that myself but did the trim for now. Don't think it'll last long but I really did it to see what you guys think. That was gonna be a seperate post but I thought, naw, someone will say something in this one for sure.
You don't have daytime running lights?

Yep, how'd you guess? Anyway, I'm always having argument wit people on that topic but I won't get into that here. I will admit though there are more Biggie fans in Toronto than Tupac fans. I don't mind that cuz I don't care what people say. Enough bout that, thanks for the compliment!

Yeah, definitely get rid of that trim. Your ride looks great though!

To my knowledge, there are no Acura TL models for the US market that have DRL. I wonder if they'll include it with the re-style. The RL has it. The TSX doesn't though. Who knows.

Obviously you havent seen plates that's said, "GAYEST", yet. Dah well, I guess until you've seen those my plates will be the gayest in your mind. And of course I'm not gonna be Pac. I wanted MAKAVELI, that would have been badass.

Wow! Are those tires 225/35-19's. How are your rims holding up? You must have some good roads in your area.

Actually they are 225/30-20's and they are holding up fine. While most of the roads down here are bad some are not half bad but still they hold up really nice. The guy who does my rims drove the car to test it out and couldn't believe how smooth the ride was for such large rims, I can't believe it myself nor can anyone who rides in it. Oh and another thing, no one believes they're 20's until they read it for themselves. I jus took this picture so the rims and tires arent clean. I'm gonna wash the TL before I head into work.

Hahah...thanks!

Those pics of the TL are from a while back. I now have my 19's on there, so Im guessing those are about 4 months old or so. We had a mild winter here in WI. Cold, but not much snow!

j-2k, you got some serious skills with the camera and a serious eye for lighting and scenery. The second last pic is my fav, then comes the last one. I love the way the light is refelcting off the TL. OFF THE CHAIN!
Was the tint factory or did you install after purchase? Looking to do mine soon and need suggestions on what direction to take. Acura dealer or thrid party?

I went after I bought the car through a local guy I know. I did the 3M/Llumar Film in 15% all the way around, and I love it.

Dealerships are waaaay too much. Cheaper to find someone yourself.

Are those DRL's standard? A few people have been trying to do that, but I still can't figure out how without re-wiring the foglights
