Hey winter: up yours.
And it hasn't even officially began yet.
Thought I'd take a take some random pics since we got a bit of snow here in Indy over the past few days. Haven't touched my camera in a while. My car three weeks ago.
And today. Take note of snow in the lower grilles and on the side skirts. The TL plowed through a couple deep drifts today. The front A-Spec lip acted like a plow.
^My life depends on those tires.

Hey winter....
It's supposed to be 15 degrees here tonight with a wind chill of 0 early in the morning. I LIVE IN THE SOUTH. This is some bullshit. Seriously though, I don't know how you guys up north deal with the extreme cold and constant snow.
Craig the TL looks dope as always

Nice pictures =)
I always knock the shit off under the sideskirt.
You'd be surprised how much snow can hide behind the sideskirts =P
Been having a lot of snow here.
All schools, buses, and vans were cancelled today.
That's how much snow we have up here.
I couldn't see shit driving home, because of the whiteout =(

Edmonton is about to get snowed in one of these days. I don't drive my 05 TL to work, I drive the 99 TL. I still got winter tires on mine just in case I need to drive it somewhere when I don't have access to the other car.
Always kick off that snow before you park in the garage. it will fall off the car and melt and leave mud puddles. I have the window scraper thingy and that's what I use to get the snow off.
I am not looking forward to -30C temps all winter. Might even get colder with wind chill

Haha yep. Snow sucks. And my car already scrapes on curbs on driveways.
Hahaha I was just watching the news about how it was 28 in FL today. The "Real Feel" temperature for this morning was -7. Indiana is just barely a northern state too...poor people in Minnesota. And Canada.
In other news, I went to the outdoor mall today. It was actually busy.
I normally do knock it off but was lazy. Our garage is a mess in the winter already. Driving in heavy snow is truly terrifying.
Thank you.
Jackass. I haven't had a clean car since then. The earliest I can get it washed is next week. It's supposed to snow tomorrow night and then this weekend some more.
Thanks.
They get noticed, even by people who don't normally pay attention to anything on cars.
Rub it in.
I'm about ready to move to Mexico already.
C6 Z06 in LeMans Blue. Sleeping for the winter. Was one of the first 500 to roll off the production line in late 05 and only has 13,000 miles.
I have yet to drive it. For good reason I suppose.
Haha my dad has something against Ferraris and Lambos. He's hoping to replace the Z06 with some ///AMG when he retires in a year or two.
Snow tires are almost a must in Canada. But then again, I'm sure most people are used to driving on snow for 5 months of the year.
-30? Bundle the f up...
Haha right! It got new Goodyear Eagles put on last spring. It might work.
Thanks guys! And haha the road salt is just...an exfoliating mask.
Anywho...back to studying for finals. Eff.

Thank ya. Just the occasional ScratchX and then a coat of wax goes on them whenever I wax the rest the car, but that's it. I've never wet sanded them or anything if that's what you were wondering.

Anyways, car looks extremely clean for driving around in the snow. mine has pretty much gone from white to charcoal grey. Did you paint the emblems, or plasti dip them?

I'm a pretty minimalistic guy. That style carried over to a car is a benefit as it doesn't cost too much. Only thing I want different on the exterior would be A-Spec wheels. But IMO, $1000 could be put to better things on the car and in general. Although the car was a gift (and the best one ever), I have to pay for the maintenence and premium gas. Love those A-Spec wheels though.
They're painted. With lots of clear. As with the chrome door handle strips that I painted black.
Haha thank you man. My father has blessed us with a nice home.

Very nice man. Always looking clean no matter what, that's what I like to see. I have to pay for gas and 50% of insurance...rather be paying maintenance to be honest...
My headlights oxidized on the inside because I didn't clean them too well But now I have a reason to get new type-s headlights. Then they'll be as fresh as yours

I use a Nikon D60. For these pics, I just had it on auto.

Type-S headlights on your car would look awesome.

^Yeah same here. With its filthiness, interior being a salty, wet, trashed mess, and the navi screen not working (and won't be for at least two weeks while its getting fixed), I feel like I'm neglecting my car. Motivation is gone...
Spring needs to get here.

Next time it snows, find an open lot and make sure your handbrake works functionally at 30mph while turning. E-brake drifts are unbelievable fun in the snow
Oh, and if you haven't yet, pick up a bottle of ONR. I've had one for a while and it works great for the body. Only complaint is that I can't really wash the wheels that well, and your drying towel will be filthy after, but nothing beats having the only clean car in the city
